Khibu a young poor dark colored with no family, yet active and hard working teen lived in a small village located in a jungle. He always gets up early in the morning when the sun shines it's head over the woods. He would climb the tallest tree to look at the mighty Sun waking up with pleasure and smile in it's face. Then he would run to the river to taste the fresh water with some mangoes. Afterwards he would return to the village and gets frustrated by all the waste and dirt that was left from the last nights deer hunting celebration. Therefore he started cleaning the village by picking up the trash and wiping the wastes with a leaf- duster. All of a sudden the daughter of Chieftain Lidy came out of her hovel. Lidy was so pretty and beautiful that Khibu stopped doing what he was doing and gazed upon her with amazement until he was pushed savagely by the strongest boy called Jalu of the village and the eldest son of the warrior chief. Jalu with anger teased and harassed him and threw all the trash in Khibu's face. All the villagers laughed at him due to which Khibu's heart broke and ran towards his tree and started crying while looking at sun with rage, as if the sun was laughing as well then he ran towards the river and sat there in grief. Afterwards, while he was still crying with grief and dirt all over his face, suddenly a soft and gentle hand touched his shoulder. He turned with fear and unexpectedly found Lidy next to him. He got confused, wiped his tears, tried to smile while Lidy looked at him and laughed, upon which Khibu made a sad face. She told him that he Is not a child and yet crying like a baby, and said, "get yourself rinsed from fear and grief".
Khibu washed his face and both spoke with each other and listened each other's story of loneliness, freedom with limits and power with no wings for hours and hours. Khibu told her how much he hates trash and dirt and his endless love for nature. Next day they both woke early and climbed the tree to watch the rising sun and rested in the shores of calm river to enjoy the first rays of light and fresh water with juicy fruits. They continued to enjoy the nature for 2 regular days and also cleaned the village as well. However one day Jalu spotted their friendship and followed their routine for a whole day. Later with jealousy and fear of losing Lidy, Jalu spoke with the chieftain and told him all about the closeness between Khibu and Lidy. Chieftain with rage ordered warrior chief to find them and arrest Khibu. The Chieftain punished Khibu by beating him through his warriors and locked him in a wooden cell for a day without food and water.
