Later next morning a lion attacked the village, all the warriors were busy fighting the lion during which Lidy came to the cell in a hurry and gave him some water and she broke a hole with an axe in the wooden cell. Khibu escaped and before that begged her to escape with him but she refused in fear. The warriors successfully killed the lion. Upon looking at the empty cell the Warrior Chief got enraged but Chieftain made him calm by saying "The trash had suffered enough now he is cleansed". That night the village again celebrated by feasting the lion as a heavenly sacrificial gift. As time went by, the village hunted more and more. Celebrations were increasing day by day with waste and trash also getting worse while Lidy suffered due to limited independence and being separated from her favorite individual in the village. Khibu was disappeared in the woods. However no one expected as a disease broke in the village. The plague was fierce and was spreading like a swamp. Warriors were ordered to throw sick bodies in the deep forest. Lidy and the chieftain's family with some warriors separated themselves from the villagers. Even so, the chieftain's family also got the plague only Lidy was safe. Khibu was wandering in the woods as he saw huge pile of bodies of the villagers. He rushed towards the village and was stunned by looking at the horror. He saw Lidy carrying water from well towards chieftain's hovel. So he rushed for her and both cried looking at each other. Khibu asked her what's wrong and she told him everything. They both helped the sick villagers together as chieftain and warrior chief including Jalu were suffering from the illness. People were dying continuously and nothing was working. Khibu sat in a tree in village with Lidy as both were losing hope then Khibu noticed something as he returned he saw heaps of wastes in and around the well with rats as he never saw that many rates and waste in the village. Therefore he started cleaning the village and wiping the trash with a broom that he made with some special leaves. Lidy also looked at him and helped him to clean the village and the day turned into night as they cleansed the village from rates and waste as well. The next day they started to provide fresh water from river and fresh fruits from woods for the suffering people including chieftain and warrior chief's family. That night everyone got well and the plague was no more however killing many but also many survived too. The Chieftain knowing the intelligence of Khibu and importance of cleanliness forgave him and accepted him as a family member and started to enjoy the nature and clean village everyday with Khibu as well.
