They got to the alley and it wasn't as quiet as it was the other night that he was here
"Here we are," Christopher said
"So this is where you last saw this girl?" he asked
"Yes it was right in this alley that I last saw her," Christopher said
"All alright," Anthony said as he started to search for whatever it was he was looking for
Chris was trying to find the exact spot where he had raped her but he couldn't remember he was sure everything took place and happened right in this alley
"I think we should ask around that why we came here anyways," Anthony said
"All right fine let's do that" Chris agreed and they moved out of the alley and headed out to ask anyone that they could find luckily for them, they found a woman passing by and they stopped her, she was quite aged so it was a possibility that she was a local at this place
"Hello, madam. Good afternoon. Can we have a few seconds of your time?" Anthony said, seeing that he was talking to someone already, Chris walked up to both of them
The woman saw that they were very rich people cause they did look rich and she could spot Chris's car from afar and she didn't need anyone to tell her that it belonged to them, she knew it was theirs cause no one in the neighborhood has such an exotic car
"How can help you gentlemen?" she asked them
"Well, we need to ask you some questions that you might have answers to?" Anthony said
"Okay but nothing comes for free," she said and threw her face away to the other side
Chris dipped his hand in his pocket he found his wallet he was not the type to carry cash around but thanked God that he still had some money left on him he gave everything to her hoping she would be satisfied with it
"You can have this now please every question to the best of your abilities," he said
Seeing the load of cash that was given to her, she was so happy, even if she went to the market for a whole month she would never be able to make much money
"So what exactly do you want to know" she asked
"I'm looking for a girl, I don't know her name but" Chris said he didn't know how he was going to say that last part but he knew he needed to come clean if he needed to find her so he continued talking
"She was raped in this alley about five years ago; she was still very young, then she was about seventeen or eighteen there about. Do you know anything about something like that?" Chris asked
The woman seemed to be in deep thought for a while then she spoke
"Did you say five years ago?" she asked
"Yes it happened five years ago?" he said
"I do know of a case of one young girl that was found right in that alley in a blood, it was a woman that found, she sells milk back then or maybe she still sells it, I can't remember the girl's name anymore but the woman found her and she was taken to the hospital by some boys alongside that woman, we later heard that she was raped that's why she was in blood that day" the woman explained
"Wait ma'am, let me understand you very well. Is it the girl that was raped that sells milk or the woman that helped her?" Anthony asked for clarity so he could know how he would investigate the matter
"No it's the woman that helped her that sells milk, from what I gathered then that the girl was a total stranger in this area back then and I'm sure whoever raped her wasn't from here either cause we don't have such people here in our neighborhood," the woman said
"Okay madam one more thing before we let you go, did the police investigate the matter back then" Anthony asked probably he got any clue from the police
"No, I don't think so I didn't see the police coming in here to investigate anything so I doubt that very much" she answered
"Do you know where the woman that helped her stay or do you know the hospital or something I need to find that girl," Christopher asked her, cause he was sure that she was the same girl in question
He remembers as well that the girl had told him that she was waiting for her friend who went to get something back then so she was probably a stranger like this woman had said
"I don't know where the woman stays all I know is that she sells milk and she passes through this alley back then, but I do know the hospital that she was taken, that's the hospital almost everyone in this neighborhood uses" The woman explained
"Oh okay that's good then please give us the description of the hospital," he said and the woman did as she was told
Chris and Anthony hurriedly got into the car and went in search of the hospital and they got it without stress cause it was quite a well-known hospital in the neighborhood
As soon as they got to the hospital Chris's heart could not help but skip, he was closer to the truth that he had sought for years and he was having mixed feelings and emotions about everything, it was just simply crazy
They got inside the hospital and requested to see the doctor, they met one of the nurses
"Good afternoon please we would like to see the doctor in charge of this hospital" Anthony was the one who did the talking
"Do you have an appointment with him?" she asked
"No but we would like to see him," he said
"All alright fine I will be right back allow me to check in with him first," she said and left.
