Angel arrived at the company, she went straight to where she was to meet with her father, she picked her phone and called her father
"dad I'm here where are you?" she asked
"I will be right there with you" he said and hung up
Jonas arrived at the cafe some minutes later
"hey dad is it okay for us to talk here?" Angel asked
"what if someone hears?"
"don't worry this is the best place to have a conversation that way we won't raise any suspicion" Jonas explained to her
"alright so what's the plan, the test is being carried out already" Angel said
"are you still in touch with Patricia the doctor's wife?" he asked
"well yes " she asked wondering why he was asking
"here" he placed an envelope on the table
"what's this?" she took it and checked it
"it's a fake DNA test, I know Rebecca would insist the test be carried out by that family doctor of theirs so I had a fake result done for me, you are going to ask Patricia to change the results" Jonas said
"oh dad you are such a genius, that's not a problem at all I will have that done" she said her lips curving up
"don't screw this up I have to go now" Jonas said and stood up to leave
"okay dad, I will see you at home" Angel said
after her father left she picked her phone and dialed a number
"hello girlfriend do you have time today let's grab some tea" she said
"oh really okay, where?" she asked
"at the cafe of my dad's company" she said
"your dad's company, I don't remember your father having a company Angel" she dissed her
"I'm talking about the Smith's corporation" she said trying her best to keep her cool
"oh does he still work there, I thought he was kicked out after what you did to Christopher" she teased her more
"just come there already I don't have all day" she said and hung up
Patrica burst out laughing, her eyes turning dark, she had promised herself a long time ago that she would take he revenge on Angel, they were once best friends but Angel snitched on her, she knew she liked Christopher but she went ahead and dated him
she has pretended not to care just to keep the fool close so she could take her revenge on her, that's why she had also agreed to be with Mike when Angel suggested it, she even went as far as lying to Mike that she was pregnant for him, she then traveled for months after they got married
she then faked a miscarriage abroad, she didn't even love the guy she just wanted to get back at Angel
Angel also wanted to spite Grace that's why she dated her brother even though she love Carlos and even ask her to date Mike because she knew Jane liked Mike, she had used her
but what she didn't know was that she was also using her, she would use her to her satisfaction then eliminate her, after all she had helped her with the whole fake pregnancy and miscarriage stuff
she really didn't feel like going to see her, she hated her so much but she was curious to know what she was up to this time, she always has something up her sleeve anyways
Patrica dressed up and left the house with her car
she got to the cafe and found Angel waiting for her
"oh you are here guess what I got you?" Angel said and put a shopping bag on the table
"I'm married to one of the best doctors with the biggest hospital in the country, he's also the family doctor to the biggest and most powerful family in the country, I can afford to get myself designers clothes" Patrica said after seeing what was in the shopping bag
Angel felt embarrassed ' is this bitch boasting in front of him ' she thought she decided to boast too
"well you are Mike's wife all thanks to me, remember it was all my idea girlfriend" she said
"oh of course that was after you snitched behind my back to go date Christopher knowing fully well that I liked him even though you already had Carlos" she replied her
"come on Patricia are you still angry about that we are over that already right, anyways forget about that now, we are here for something else" Angel said
"what do you want?" she asked
"I need you to help me with something" she said
"you know a DNA test is being carried out for Jane, I need you to help me change the results" she went straight to the point
"so that means the girl doesn't belong to Christopher?" she said even though she wasn't in the list suprised, she knew what she was capable of doing, she also suspected it cause why the hell will they keep it secret for so long, she even didn't even know a thing
"yes the child belongs to Carlos" she lied, she can't afford to tell her the whole truth
"but why Angel? you don't even love Christopher, you have Carlos" Patricia questioned her
"it's not your business just do as I ask" she snorted
"what if I refuse?" she said
"then you will leave me no choice than to expose you as well, remember I have your secret with me" Angel threatened her
"are you threatening me?" Patrica stood up angrily
"take it as you like, we are just rubbing each other's backs here, besides the person you are being so concerned about doesn't even notice you, he never did even when we were in high school and college he doesn't like you, so I advice you to hold on to your marriage with the doctor you can't find a better man for you" Angel mocked her
"and you think he likes you?" Patrica mocked her as well
"he's crazy for me" Angel said arrogantly
"he was crazy for you Angel point of correction, do you see the way he looks at you and treats you now, wake up girl the child won't make him be with you" Patricia slammed the truth on her face
