AT THE GRIMOIRE TOWER
"There sure are a lot of books here said jin with a surprised expression."
"yeah I wonder how many are there?"
replied Yuno
"it doesn't matter I just need one to prove myself."
said Asta with excitement
"yeah"
both replied at the same time
after a brief moment, an old man with a long white beard came to the podium and started welcoming the young ones and then giving a speech on grimoire and magic, after his speech ended the grimoire from the shelves started floating around the large hall and started going to their respective owners
Various voices could be heard all across the tower from people who received their grimoire
Jin also looked at his three-leaf grimoire with a smile on his face, he then saw Asta who was kneeling with one leg waiting for his grimoire to come but as time passed no grimoire came
people who saw him started mocking and laughing at him
Jin has a dark look on his face as he saw asta being ridiculed but he knows it is something asta had to face himself after all if he can't even deal with such trivial things how can he become the wizard king
As asta was being mocked a bright light suddenly appeared and enveloped the hall
Jin saw in the direction of the light and saw a grimoire with a four-leaf clover being held by, yuno, who has now become the center of attention
Many were praising him while Many were jealous of him
Ignoring them Yuno turned around and proclaimed that he will become the wizard king
As the crowd burst into applause asta who has returned from his initial shock reminded Yuno of their rivalry
but Yuno just ignored him and the crowd started mocking him again
Jin who was watching all of this also turn around to leave while holding his grimoire tightly

AT AFTERNOON
I should probably gift him a weapon or something to change his mood. wel he will not be depressed for long and would have already started training but at least giving him something will motivate him to work harder.
I hope the tension between yuno and asta also settles down.
Jin thought as he finished his training and started walking toward the church
"Never giving up is my magic"
Jin suddenly heard Asta scream and went in the direction of the voice
When he reached there he saw Asta who was holding a giant sword and yuno who was being chained by a certain man
he thought of interrupting but dropped the idea when he saw asta dealing with it
"so you too get a grimoire Asta and also a sword that could nullify magic"
Jin thought as he saw asta who was now showing his grimoire to Yuno
Asta and yuno who were discussing their rivalry and were bumping their fist were suddenly interrupted when they saw Jin who has now apeeared in front of them and was holding both their fists
Yuno decided to speak first
"Hey, where did you go after the ceremony?"
"oh Jin did you see my grimoire"
asta who cut off yuno in between asked with stars in his eyes
"yeah Asta I am happy for you that now you have got your own grimoire and Yuno I am also happy that you were again able to start your rivalry with Asta"
asta and yuno smiled as they heard jin
jin then continued
"Now that we are ready let's make sure that we get selected as magic knights"
Jin said while seeing Asta and Yuno with determination in his eyes
"yeah"
Asta and Yuno replied with the same determination

As the 6 months passed all the three boys worked hard every day to prepare for the magic knight's exam and today is the day that they leave for the castle town to attend the exam
"where the hell is Jin?"
shouted Asta who was waiting with Yuno at the front of the church along with Sister, Father and other children
"oh, he said he was going to visit the statue of the first wizard king before leaving?"
" he must be really scared before the exam"
Asta said with a little worry
"i don't think so"
yuno said while pointing his fingers at jin who was approaching them with a smile on his face
"oh Jin you took a long time and what the hell is that bird on your shoulder?"
"Oh I got a little late, and this bird is my friend. She always stays at the wizard king statue or watch us during training so I ask her to come with us and she agreed"
:"oh yeah its that bird"
Asta shouted while remembering the bird that watched him during training
The bird didn't showed any reaction and simply ignored asta
"lets leave"
said yuno while turning around
"yeah bye everyone and take care "
"yeah take care you all"
"you all also take care asta, jin, yuno "
"you can come back if you fail asta and jin"
father said with a smirk on his face
"I am not gonna fail." said asta
"same here." said jin
and with these words, the three started their journey to the exam
