Jin who gave a sigh of relief looked at the platform as the exam was going to start

before the final test started william again stood up and showed his gratitude for all the participants for trying their best, he than explained about the last test where they were going to have a fight with each other
Asta thought of it as his final chance to prove himself

jin was also a little excited until a noble approached him and asked for a duel
the two reached at the center of the crowd the noble than started speaking again
"hey commoner let me show you your place. I will defeat you or who knows what will happen to the magic knights if people like you starts joining it."
jin who was just stretching his hands and legs again looked at the person

it was not because what jin said, but jin's expression which showed that he was not pretending to not know but he literally didn't heard anything

yami start laughing while the other captains stared at him
"yami just shrugged and again looked at the match"

the noble gritted his teeth as he opened his grimorie and shouted

jin who didn't bother opening his grimorie just stood their without flinching
the captains looked at him and thought what was he going to do
the water ball approached him and jin dodged it without even paying much attention he than put pressure on his feet and with just a little force he simply appeared in front of the noble
the noble blinked his eyes, the crowd blinked their eyes and even the captain blinked their eyes
there was again the same thought on their mind

jin than bend his knees and prepared for the punch
for some reason the noble sixth sense which has now reached on a new height due to the danger he was facing warned him to avoid the punch but the fear he was feeling made him unable to move
jin who threw his punch stopped in mid way as he saw the noble sweating profoundly
he than simply put down his hand and started walking out of the center with his hands in the pocket
the crowd even if they don't like him, even if the nobles thought of him as a commoner and even if some captains who didnt want a commoner to join their squad thought of only one thing

the way he dodged, the way he covered the distance and was ready to throw the punch and simply stopped when the opponent lost his will to fight for them it looked very awesome as a spectator

the captains ignored him while Rill, the captain of aqua dear was drawing a portrait in his hands and Dorothy, the captain of coral peacock was still sleeping

"yeah and he was still holding back" Yami said while holding a cigarette in his mouth

the other captain also nodded as they saw Jin who was now sleeping at the sitting platform
the other matches also began and ended, with yuno again showing his profound talent and asta surprising everyone by showing his ability to nullify magic
and as such the exam test concluded

asta said as he shook jin who was sleeping peacefully
"how can you even sleep during the exam?"

hearing them, jin woke up as he put his sleeping band above his head
he than looked toward asta and yuno who were staring at him
after a brief silence he asked

jin smiled and stood up, they then went at the crowd which was forming as it was time for the squad to be selected

"well first you are a commoner and there are many people who will not select you based on this"
