[Due to recent actions taken, you have gained accomplishments: Coup D'etat, Dark Horse]
[Coup D'etat]
[You are 33% harder to notice when planning to and taking over any organized form of government/leadership.]
[You have successfully taken over a kingdom with no following rebellion.]
[Dark Horse]
[When fighting enemies stronger than yourself all stats, skills, and accomplishments are boosted by 25%.]
[Multiple enemies have been made of well-known and much stronger enemies. They will continue to chase you down until you are dealt with or peace has been made.]
… Holy fucking neat!!! [Coup D'etat] wasn't that great; rarely was Eodum planning to overthrow a kingdom. [Dark Horse] on the other hand was something else! All stats, skills, and accomplishments would be upgraded by 25%!? That was amazing! Grant it, it only worked when fighting those stronger than yourself, but it'd give Eodum a fighting chance in an uphill battle. Eodum's lips curled into an unnatural, slightly disturbing smile as its attention drifted back to reality.
Eodum looked up to see its companions also grinning from ear to ear. Everyone was clearly delighted by the development of [Coup D'etat] and [Dark Horse]. "We should probably prepare to leave." Sheila suggested.
Delacs agreed, "Yeah, m- *hic* maybe." They quickly cleaned up the aftermath of their celebration. Booze of all different sources covered the ground, and bottles from many different places were scattered amongst the golden, dry, short grass of the field. Eodum and Delacs were tipsy while Henry and Sheila were mostly fine; Sheila was undead and Henry was a spirit. Alcohol doesn't affect them the same way it did others. They could still appreciate the taste of it though.

The bottles of different booze were so varied and different they clearly came from many parts of the continent. All the alcohol was sourced from Henry and his [Storage]; it was strange, he held countless cooking supplies from places thousands of kilometers away. Where did he get it all? Why did he have it all? Why didn't he let Sheila check his status in the sewers? Who even was he? They knew he was a cook from an inn in Seelf, but not much else.
Henry was a complete anomaly. Why was he so good at fighting when he was just a craftsman? She saw his aura as being cool and like water, but it held darkness and malice deep within it. The three have become great companions fighting together in life or death combat, but none of them talked about their personal life. She still had that appraisal ticket from way back when, so she could secretly check his status.
She was conflicted. On one hand, checking his status would be a major breach of privacy, but on the other, she really knew nothing about him. For all she knew, he could be a war criminal from across the continent. Maybe that was why he has all these different things; he could've picked it up while on the run from the law. He could have all these craftsman based skills because no one would do business with him.
She stared at him as he cleaned up the mess. He was talking with a tipsy Eodum, a smile spread across his face. Could someone like this really be so dangerous? No, she'd trust her companions; whether they be monsters, criminals, or whatever else, she'd trust her companions. She let go of the appraisal ticket in her pocket deciding to let sleeping dogs lie.

The party cleaned the area of their litter, and Eodum and Delacs had sobered up. Delacs announced, "All right, I guess this is where we'll be parting ways?"
"I guess so." Eodum agreed.
Delacs chuckled, "Heh, it's been one hell of a journey; it's been one hell of a pleasure."
"Hope to see ya around." Henry said in farewell.
Sheila stuck out her hand, "May Gnos bless your path." Delacs shook her hand and turned around. He began to walk. His form disappeared behind a hill as he traveled to the horizon beyond their sight. The Void Horse party turned around readying themselves to head out towards their destination. Delacs and the Void Horse party walk away from each other, the golden, dry grass cracking beneath their feet. Both go on their own path, furthering their destiny.
The Void Horse party see nothing but fields of golden grass slowly turning greener as they travel away from the fallen city of Nomed. A few small houses form on the horizon, the village of Eman. A cool wave washes over the party's minds, calming them as the next step in their adventure begins. Maybe this time, they could find peace and rest easy.

"Kali, dinner is ready!" A man with pale indigo skin called out to her daughter. The daughter stirred, pushing the thin blankets off of her. The blankets in Nomed were much more comfortable, but with her family around, everything felt heavenly. She exited her room, shutting the light colored wood behind her, a small click followed as it signified its closing.
She walked down the hallway to see a man with pale indigo skin and a pink, cutesy apron, "There you are! Here, I made your favorite, slow roasted needle ginrreh in an aujall sauce." Needle ginrreh are toxic fish similar to a cross between a pufferfish and a herring. The aujall sauce is made from hot peppers, tomatoes, sometimes onions, and one or two spices depending on who makes it.
Ginrreh need a very careful procedure done to them to remove the toxin which has only been done to two of the servings. The other two are filled with the toxins of the fish. The man turned around and called, "Honey, Basil, dinner's ready!" Shortly after the man called, heavy footsteps could be heard getting closer to the dining room and kitchen. A minotaur woman came through the door followed by a shorter male minotaur.
"Hey honey, which plates are mine and Basil's?" The woman asked.
The man pointed at two plates, "Those are for you and Basil, mine and Kali's are over here." The four sat down at the table. The minotaurs had the non-poisoned plates while the dellich side of the family sat down in front of their poisoned meals. Nothing like a nice family dinner!

Eodum thought about what it'd be like to be eating with its own family as it gnawed on an ape.
