When Leah was done checking me up, I packed my things with the help of my mom and checked out of the hospital. The ride home was quiet. No one said a word. It was getting on my nerves, but I shrugged it off and looked out of the window as we passed by instead.
I sighed after a while and decided to break the silence when the car stopped in front of a huge house. My eyes widened and my jaw dropped, was this our house? You got, to be kidding me. I was squealing on the inside.
I opened the car door and got out, looking at the house in awe. "Come on. Let's go inside." My mother said, dragging me to the front door. Golden eyes chuckled and got my bag out of the car trunk.
My mom opened the door and voices screamed surprise, making me gasp at the crowd in the house. They all pulled me into a hug one by one, saying things I didn't even remember. I tried to smile and pretend that I was okay, but these people were freaking me out.
