"Ah, Damon, those words cut deep. I'm your own brother, for crying out loud, and you threaten to skin me alive if I so much as touch that insignificant human. But you know what? Your threats won't deter me. I'll do as I please, regardless, hahaha!" He laughed
"Ziyad, I'm warning you, stay away from anything that belongs to me," he cautioned, his voice laced with a steely edge, his eyes narrowed in a menacing glare.
" But I won't, that rat doesn't belong to you, I won't watch you ruin your life all because of that rat," Ziyad retorted stubbornly, his voice tinged with defiance.
"She is not a rat," Lucky defended, his tone firm and protective.
"But she looks like one," Ziyad persisted, earning a sharp glare from Lucky.
"ZIYAD, SHUT THE FUCK UP!" Lucky erupted, his frustration boiling over, causing Ziyad to recoil and tears to well up in his eyes.
" Do you just yell at me, I'm scared now, my bro is angry and he yelled at me," Ziyad whimpered, tears streaming down his cheeks, his vulnerability apparent.
"Ziyad, stop with this act, I will kill you," Lucky threatened, his voice seething with rage, but then he noticed something strange. Ziyad's tears suddenly turned into laughter, a wild and unsettling laughter.
"Hahahaha, Oh my gawd, you are making me shed tears I've laughed a lot," Ziyad cackled, his laughter echoing eerily in the stillness around them, adding to the surreal atmosphere.
"Ziyad, if you love yourself just go back home," Lucky urged, his voice strained with frustration and exasperation.
"I am going, but until you come with me to the Blue Moon I won't leave. Do you know when last you've been there? It's been over 500 years now and you've not even visited. You look too comfortable here, you've forgotten about the world you rule, Damon. Your people are waiting for you, wanting you to come back. They've waited for the past 500 years now, waiting for you to come back, but they don't know they just only have high expectations, not knowing you are here enjoying yourself with that rattish human over here, someone who will ruin you," Ziyad retorted bitterly.
"Ziyad, shut up," Lucky snapped, his patience wearing thin as he struggled to maintain his composure in the face of his brother's accusations.
"No, you shut up, shut the fuck up and listen to me. Do you know what is happening in Blue Moon right now? It's about time for the full Blue Moon to come, and you are here, you are here doing shitty trash. Look, let me tell you something: if you don't let go of that girl and come to Blue Moon, I promise to kill her. And the funniest thing is that I'm serious right now, and you know when I'm serious about something, no one can stop me. I don't joke when I'm serious. I will kill her, and that's it," Ziyad threatened vehemently.
"Ziyad, I'm warning you," Lucky growled, his voice low and dangerous.
"Catch me if you can, I dare you," Ziyad challenged, and without waiting for any more reply, he disappeared into smoke, which had little fire flakes in them.
"Ziyad, Ziyad, come back here!" Lucky yelled, but immediately after Ziyad disappeared, everything that went still started moving again. Lucky narrowly avoided being hit by a car.
The car he had gotten down from also started moving, its door swinging open as if inviting him back in. Lucky hesitated for a moment before entering.
"Boss, how do you... how—" the driver stammered, clearly surprised by Lucky's sudden appearance.
"Shut up and move, take me home as fast as possible," Lucky commanded sternly, leaving no room for questions.
The driver nodded, too shocked to argue, and started the engine. As they drove away, Lucky couldn't help but wonder how he had gotten down from a moving car. But he pushed the thought aside, focusing instead on getting home as quickly as possible.
