Whenever I used [Lightning step] the world around me slowed down, while from the position where I have launched myself, a phenomenon occurred similar to when a sound barrier is broken.
Within split second I performed [Nova octave] 3 times leaving 24 star shaped wounds on the body of beast paralyzing him completely.
"How can a human who has not finished merging with his beast soul use such high level magic… unless you… are" He fell on the ground his whole body paralyzed as he asked me and stopped mid-sentence.
"I am what?" I asked pointing my sword at his neck; he was more intelligent than I gave him credit for.
"The abnormal… those white hair and golden eyes, you are that abnormal those demons were searching for." What the heck, it hasn't been 10 minutes since I have left the cave and I was discovered, that too by a beast.
'We have underestimated the demons.' Merlin said and I nodded.
"Tell me about the demons that were searching for me." I said.
"I will tell you everything I know, please let me at least keep my life in return." The beast said but I didn't have any intention of leaving him alive.

"They came eight year ago and wreaked havoc in our territory even subduing my father who is a rank 10 beast as per your human standard and king of all beasts in this dimension pocket.
He was a single demon and he spared us only because we followed the same god, otherwise he would have killed all of us for his amusement.
He said that if we found a human boy with golden eyes and white hair, we have to inform them immediately.
He said he will grant us territory and resources of a lifetime as a reward, if we can capture him but if we fail to carry out this mission, he will wipe us all out.
He left shortly after giving us his order but sent a baron ranked demon to keep an eye on us and things here, the baton ranked demon stayed until 3 years ago and he too left." The beast finished his story.
'I am more popular than I thought.' I said to merlin because they didn't spare any efforts for searching me.
'We should have done something about your appearance back inside the cave, but even I didn't think that a mere beast would be able to recognize you, the world sure has changed a lot in past 100 years.' Merlin said.
"Why did this messenger demon left 3 years ago?" I asked because the task assigned to him was still unfinished.
"He received the information that you have been spotted in the territory of another duke and have caused a big commotion there." What is he talking about; I have been sleeping until today.
'It looks like someone is using your name to stir up chaos in the outside world and if I have to guess, it should be other heroes.' Merlin said in my head.
'Damn those bastards, I hope they don't cross the line and do something which causes me trouble later.' I said which was highly unlikely.
"Tell me about this demon that visited you and roughed you up, what does he look like?" I asked curious about the identity of this powerful demon.
"He was huge at least 12 feet tall and with one of his punch the castle crumbled to pieces, his aura was so thick and strong none my father's attack could penetrate it." The beast described the demon's feature.
'Do you know anything about him merlin?' I asked.
'No, but from his description, he must be a Earl or marquees ranked demon.' Merlin said.
'Everything he said, is it truth?' Merlin asked me.
'Yes." I said to merlin.
'We need to gather information about outside world first, because I don't know how much the world has changed in past 100 years under demon king Lucifer's rule.' Merlin said.
"How far is the territory of your father from here?" I asked the beast.
"It is on the other end of this dimension pocket, my brothers framed me for false offense I didn't commit, and my father renounced my right to throne and threw me outside his territory to die, I was wondering in this dimension pocket aimlessly a year ago when I found this ruins and made it my nest." The beast answered mixing his sad story within the answer I asked him.
"Oh, why would they frame you?" I asked.
"They were afraid of my talent, that if I had given more time, I will surpass them and take the throne." The beast said proudly.
"What afraid of you, you seem pretty weak to me." I said eying him because what kind of true crap he was spouting.
"It is not that I am weak, you are that strong." The beast said to me with slight anger in his voice.
"I am 23 year old this year and I am already a rank 7 beast, I evolved in this hell last year without any help or resources, you won't understand how difficult it is." He said in a desperate tone.
'Is it that big of a deal?' I asked merlin.
'What he said is it true?' Merlin asked me.
'Yes.' I said.
'He has the potential to become a rank 12 beast, instead of killing him now, we should help him evolve and then harvest his core.' Merlin said and my eyebrows twitched.
'How rare is it, to find a beast with potential to reach rank 12?' I asked merlin.
'One in a million.' Merlin replied with a straight face.
'I won't gain much by killing him now; on the other hand I am more interested in fighting this rank 10 demon beast he was talking about.' I said.
'He said they worship the same demon god whom demon king follows, we should make him our minion and help him ascend the throne that way we will reduce the influence of demon god on this dimension pocket.' Merlin said.
'It's too much of a hassle.' I said.
'It is, but we will gain our first stronghold in this planet and we will have him supply you high ranking beast core, as a king it won't be too difficult for him and it will save your time to go and search for beast cores for the time being.' Merlin said and I understood his intention.
I definitely need to increase my soul force as soon as possible because it will increase my chances of defeating dragon king Noob's consciousness and I am going to kill those high ranking beast and take their beast core anyway, why not make this beast my minion and harvest beast cores for little longer.
'I like your proposal but are you sure we can trust him?' I asked.
'We can make him sign a mana contract.' Merlin said.
"What is your name, you snake bastard?" I asked.
"Babel briskoli, my lord." He answered
"What a weird name sorry I asked, so baby, would you like to ascend to the throne?" I asked.
