"Are you sure?" He once again asked me.
"Yes, never been more sure about anything in my whole life, but are you just going to work with me, considering the fight which is ahead of us aren't you going to test my talent or aptitude or something like that?" I questioned him.
"Then tell me, what qualification should I expect in a two day old baby?" he asked and I shut my mouth.
"Your mind is that of a 22 year old teenager and it will help us greatly in overcoming the learning curve but your body is far from ready, if in future I feel like you are not competent enough to do the job, we will part ways." He said truth without caring about my feeling throwing straight facts at me.
"The current situation require us to work together, you may not have realized it but we both are equally dependent on each other, if I separate from your body I won't be able to maintain my form even for a single day and my soul will disintegrate into nothingness." He said and his words shocked me, he had the power to repel the mighty demon king but cannot live without a host.
"As I have said before, I am merely a small part of soul of gods and without a vessel to hold i cannot exist in the outside world for long time, it is a universal law with a very few exceptions." Merlin said.
"I wanted to ask you something merlin, what is immortal physique?" I asked the question which demon king refused to answer me.
Instead of hearing an answer I was met with the familiar window but not caring about the cost I pressed 'Yes'.
"If I have to rank known physiques, the immortal physique would rank 2nd from the top. There are total 6 known physiques and once someone evolve to the rank 1 'Mithril physique' he is said to have broken through the mortal limit and ascended to the realm of demi gods which is one step away from becoming a real god." He said.
"Have you met anyone who was able to evolve to 'Mithril physique'?" I asked thinking it was a big deal.
"You need to be at least a demi god level existence if you want to fight gods, all my previous hosts had evolved their physique to 'Mithril physique' and you will have to do the same." He said and my face brightened.
"The current benefit you will be receiving from your immortal rank physique is that you will never feel thirsty or hungry because your body will accumulate the necessary nutrients from environment." Why didn't I think of that, it has been 2 days since I acquired this body but not even for a second I felt thirsty or hungry, it didn't click me at first but what merlin said was true.
"On top of not feeling hunger, if you ever get injured your body will start to heal itself and the more you grow the faster your regeneration will become but don't go receiving any serious injury because it has its limit." Well at first I was confused but the immortal physiques sure live up to its name.
"And the last thing is that in this world whether it is Magic spells or weapon art, they are graded between rank 1-12 and if the person wants to learn higher skills or higher rank spells they have to evolve their physique but you have a privileged that you will be able to learn up to rank 10 magic spells and weapon arts due to your already evolved physique."
"So first I will not feel any hunger and I have regenerative ability and I can learn anything faster than others." I summarized what I had learned from merlin.
"Yes, a genius born with unlimited potential will need at least 60 to 70 years before he can evolve his physique to immortal rank and then only he can start to learn spell and skills above rank 8, on the other hand you can start to learn the same thing in next 15 to 20 years depending on your efforts." Merlin said.
"So what are the other physiques, I know 3 of them Ethereal, immortal and Mithril?" I asked.

He said the truth even if demon king ignore my existence but the presence of merlin by my side is the biggest threat to him even bigger than those other 2 heroes.
"Ok" I said and a blue light suddenly enveloped my body.

"Are you sure you haven't made any mistake in calculation merlin?" I asked him.

"Is it possible for a normal mortal to have that many Fate point?" I asked.
"Not even in 1000 lives, even some gods don't have that many Fate points." Merlin said and I understood his reason.
"Remember I told you that I may find the reason for your unique ability after analyzing your body and soul." He said.
"Yes, did you find anything unique?" I asked.
"You will not believe me but I think you are the reincarnation of some ancient god because only gods can possess this many fate points." He said and his analysis shocked me.
"Wait so gods can also reincarnate then how are we going to kill them and how can I be the reincarnation of some ancient god?" I asked.
"Yeah gods cannot be killed permanently as long as they are in the upper realm but we can permanently kill them if they personally descent to lower realm and the reason why I think you are the reincarnation of ancient god is also because of your unique ability, each god had their own unique ability which cannot be possessed by anyone else.
I don't know how you ended up in the lower realm but I think you must have fought in the upper realm and got yourself killed their and reincarnated in the lower realm." He said.
"Does gods always fight and kill each other in the upper realm?" I asked.
"No, they only fight when there is any conflict between them because even if they fight and kill each other they won't be able to snatch each other's fate points or ability while the dead god will reincarnate in upper realm without his past memories." He said.
"For now I can only come to this conclusion but whether you are a reincarnation of god or not we can verify this fact when we enter the land of gods, for now we should stop thinking about useless things and focus on the things which are in front of us." He said and for the first time from meeting him I saw greed in his eyes, but who can blame him because I was the same.
