This chapter is to show that I have not given up. I finally fixed the problem with my translator, and resumed posting the chapters on my Patreon. Because I fixed it, next week I will be back to posting normally. Unfortunately, it will only be 3 chapters per week, since 5 chapters per week would take a lot of my time, time that I don't have due to some problems. Thank you to those who waited patiently, I hope you enjoy this chapter.

____Yuji Pov____
When I finished sparring with Imai, Adam joined us for a bite to eat before Kaneda's fight, since knowing the quick result Hatsumi's fight would have, I wasn't the least bit interested in walking to the stands just to see him win in 5 seconds. With that, Imai introduced me to the president of the company he was representing, Nishihonji Akira, a man with tan skin and short brown hair. He was a very calm person and pleasant to talk to, which made us get along well.
While we were eating, Imai asked me several questions about how I was so skilled at such a young age, which made for some good conversation time between us. It was funny to see how shocked they were whenever I talked about some of the training that Kanoh put me through.
So we exchanged some training-related information, with me giving my opinion on how Imai could improve. He took the tips seriously, even though Adam laughed in his face at being taught by someone younger.
This led to the topic that was his next fight. As much as I knew the outcome of his fight against Akoya, I couldn't stop myself from drawing his attention to the policeman. Because he was a despicable man, I wouldn't mind passing on some information so that Imai could beat him overwhelmingly.
"My fight against Akoya? Is there a problem?" Imai asked with a mouthful of food.
"Chew, you idiot!" Adam complained.
I waited until Imai had swallowed her food before continuing.
"Akoya is a dangerous fighter. You will need to think hard to defeat him, after all, he is superior to you in most attributes except for speed and stamina . But make no mistake, his reflexes are monstrous." When I started to speak, Imai seemed not to like getting that kind of help, but Akira was quick to stop him from saying anything with just a look. "Also, he may have a card up his sleeve to use against your 'Zone', so this may need you to reevaluate whatever strategy you have in mind."
I didn't mention about the information exchange that was going on between Akoya and Hiyama, since I intended to take care of that on my own. Maybe even bring the woman back to reality, helping her get rid of the idiot that was Akoya. Of course, if it didn't work, then I would just give up on the idea.
"That policeman? Even I couldn't react, how could he?" Adam seemed surprised by my words, asking with an incredulous look on his face. "He didn't look that impressive in the replay I watched."
"No..." Imai replied, a serious expression on his face that seemed to surprise Adam. "His reaction time against Kono Haruo was impressive. He would react and then immediately know exactly what to do to do as much damage as possible. Actually, seeing that was scary. Someone with an ability to reasoning at this level..."
"He was able to strategize in a matter of milliseconds . Haruo was able to put him under pressure just due to his speed increasing so suddenly." I spoke, my eyes roaming around the table for a few seconds, noting everyone's serious expression. "I'm not saying that you will lose, just that he is an opponent that you need to think carefully about in order to win. In fact, I believe you have a better chance of winning than he does."
My words seemed to lighten the mood when Imai sighed and nodded in appreciation.
"Thanks for the information. I will be careful when facing him."
"That's good."
I smiled with satisfaction. As much as I knew that an intervention could completely change the outcome of a fight, I did not believe that Imai could lose the fight against Akoya, even with the odds against him. So I didn't bother to hold back this information.
Besides, if Imai lost, what difference would it make to me? At worst, Akoya would kill him and lose control, causing me to willingly beat him to death.
As much as I didn't mind helping some of the fighters, this was the annihilation tournament. Everyone was here knowing that they could die, and that was very clear in Muteba and Mokichi's fight. If they didn't want to take such a risk, all they had to do was quit.
Imai's death could happen one way or another, after all, this world didn't have a script like anime. I was just giving him a better chance of survival, while at the same time using him for my own plans.
"Yuji..." Just as I was about to turn back to chatting with the trio, a voice sounded from behind my back, this drawing my attention so that I turned to see what it was about.
"Oh, Mr. Yoshitake." I saw the little man standing behind my chair with a strange expression. "Is there a problem?"
As much as I was using the man, I was still respectful when talking to him, this only because I wouldn't want to intimidate the poor businessman all the time. Besides, it helps to keep up appearances.
"Yes... We have a problem." I raised my eyebrow as I heard him say.
What the hell was going on?

____Narration____
Looking out the window with a privileged view of the arena, a man was quietly smoking a cigar, the smoke slowly puffing from his lips as he seemed lost in thought.
At the entrance door to the room, two guards stood alert for any attempt to break in and attack their boss. The annihilation tournament, even though it was an underworld event attended by all the world leaders, was still a dangerous place for the businessmen participating in the tournament.
From mercenaries and assassins, all of them could be hired to assassinate one of these businessmen, even with the powerful security in place. None of them would want to take any risks.
And Nogi Hideki was no different.
But...
"It is a pleasure, Mr. Nogi."
Suddenly, an unfamiliar voice sounded from the man's back, the businessman's eyes widening in surprise as he slowly turned to look at the entrance to the room.
"I wanted to chat."
Nogi's face filled with disbelief as he saw a figure emerging from the darkness with the unconscious bodies of his two bodyguards being pulled up by their shirts.
"How about that?"
To stop someone like Yuji Shinakawa, two bodyguards would not be enough.
