____Narration____
Nogi Hideki was a cunning man, Yuji had to give him that credit. Sending a former mercenary who recently became a member of the Kengan association to attack another association member was a smart thing to do. Of course, that was if the one you were targeting didn't know about this mercenary's position.
But since Yoshitake was the person in question, this plan ended up working perfectly. When the ex-mercenary was sent to attack him, his bodyguards promptly defended him, and by the rules of the association, fights between members were strictly forbidden.
Yoshitake was in the palm of Nogi's hand.
And that meant that Yuji was also in the palm of his hand, and that was something he could not allow.
"I think taking down my bodyguards was a bit much for a conversation, don't you?" Hideki spoke with a serene face, the smoke from his cigar escaping between his lips. The man didn't seem concerned by Yuji's sudden appearance, but that calmness didn't serve to put the young fighter on the back foot, after all, he could read, even if only superficially, people's minds through the system.
"Well, I won't apologize for that." Yuji spoke as he sat down in one of the armchairs in the room, his eyes roaming the place for a moment before returning to the man.
Nogi seeing the teenager settling into an armchair, just raised his eyebrow in curiosity as he smoked his cigar.
"So, what do you want to talk about?" The man was straightforward. There was no need to extend the conversation with trivial matters, and they both understood that.
Yuji was silent for a moment. He clearly sensed that someone had sneaked into the room and was using the shadows to keep hidden. This obviously created an alert in his mind, but he didn't sense danger in the figure, which indicated that he wasn't strong enough to harm him, so he just decided to follow the conversation while keeping an eye out for any movement.
"I heard about your schemes." Yuji spoke up, this causing Nogi to increase his interest in the boy. "You know, I wouldn't mind that, but you made a single mistake."
"!"
The moment Nogi blinked, his body froze as Yuji disappeared into those milliseconds of darkness, a warning sounding in his mind as the man felt a powerful pressure emanating from his back.
"You have placed yourself in my plans." Yuji's voice sounded from behind Nogi, the boy's aura escaping just enough to hold the man in place. "I'm not one to do that sort of thing, but you're almost becoming a nuisance, so keep in line. I don't care how influential you are in the association, if you get in the way of my goal, I'll make it so that even the greatest detective in this world can't find you."
Cold sweat pooled on the back of Nogi's neck, the man watching Yuji walk until he was standing in front of him.
"Well, that turned out not to be a conversation since it was rather one-sided, but I just had this to say anyway." Yuji spoke, a smile appearing on his lips as he opened his hand to show a spy wire crushed in his palm. "I'm sorry about that, but I couldn't possibly leave a trace, could I?"
Nogi's eyes widened as he saw the tiny object destroyed in the boy's hands, his eyes turning to his tie to see it untouched. 'When did he take it?!'
"I hope you got the message, since I really don't want to have to come back here a second time to deal with the same matter."
Nogi didn't respond, whether out of shock that he was being threatened by a boy 40 years younger than him, or surprise at the unexpected pressure he was able to emanate.
"Well, since I've said all I have to say, I'm leaving." Yuji nodded in farewell as he turned to leave. "Do not ignore my words, Mister Nogi!"
The boy spoke as a final warning, although his words did not carry a strong pressure, resembling more like a friendly warning.
"..."
As Yuji was about to leave the room, he looked in the direction where the unknown figure was hiding, this alerting her and causing her to move in surprise. The boy laughed at this before leaving the room.
Nogi was silent for a few seconds, his mind processing what had just happened.
"You can leave now, Kushida." With a sigh, Nogi spoke as he sat down in his armchair.
From the darkness of the room, Kushida Rin revealed herself, the woman wiping the sweat accumulated on her forehead as she avoided the unconscious bodies of the bodyguards.
"How frightening..." She spoke as she turned to Nogi. "He probably knew of my presence from when I walked in."
Nogi did not answer, his brow furrowing as he looked thoughtful. 'I will not let my ancestor's mistake be repeated.' Nogi thought, his eyes turning to the arena as he lit another cigar. 'I will not allow Yuji Shinakawa to suffer the same fate as Ichinoshin.'

[With a height of 1.87 centimeters, weighing 91kg, this is his first appearance in Kengan fights! From the Yato trading company, Gaolang Wongsawat!]
In the hallway leading to the arena, Akira and Himuro were standing next to Kaneda, who was preparing himself with some stretching.
"Are you really going to do this?" Himuro asked with concern. He didn't doubt his friend's strength, but facing someone like Gaolang Wongsawat was like courting death, even more so with an injured body like Kaneda's. He couldn't help but feel fearful about the situation.
"Yes." Kaneda was direct. He had argued with Himuro before, so there was no need to bring up the point of the conversation again. "Don't worry, I'm sure I'll be fine."
His words carried no confidence, and Akira realized this. As much as Yuji had helped his brother prepare, the chance of victory was still low when comparing him and Gaolang. The man probably outperformed him in everything. But despite that, Akira needed to support his brother, Kaneda didn't need someone to point out what he already knew.
"Looks like you're already going to fight."
Just as Kaneda was about to enter the arena, a voice sounded from behind the three, causing them to turn around to see Yuji walking towards them.
"Yuji! Where have you been?" Akira asked curiously. He had looked around for his friend, but he ended up not finding him.
"I went to do a warm-up with Imai Cosmo. We ended up meeting and decided to train together."
"You trained with Imai Cosmo?!"
Akira was dumbfounded, Yuji answering him with a nod as he turned to Kaneda intending to give him one last warning.
"Try to dodge at first. If you just block the blows, there is a big risk of your wrists being dislocated. Besides, he won't take you seriously at first, use this chance as much as possible." Yuji approached the older man with a serious expression. "If possible, avoid standing below his waist."
Kaneda raised his eyebrow in confusion upon hearing the last warning, but he decided not to question the boy. With a nod of thanks, Kaneda turned around and without hesitation, began walking toward the arena.
Yuji, who watched the man's back along with the other two on the spot, pondered for a moment.
Kaneda's chance of victory was low, but not non-existent. Knocking the boxer out before he took it seriously was the best option, but that was easier said than done.
In the end, it was enough to just root for the fighter.
