One year goes by as Today is the day of annual assessment in this one year alex has solo hunted many demons and beast with his other identity as a master hunter he became quite famous with his ice and shadow element combination he always wears face mask with hooded jacket no one knows how he looks. he had finally become a full fledged high tier maze with his space, lightning and ice element at high tier and even awakened summon and wind element his shadow element which he focussed is at intermediate stage as his space element hit the wall and he doesn't know how to breakthrough in space element as there isn't a single space super tier maze in this country.
he always practices alone in the forest and rarely goes to school and with tangyue presence he is able to attend as he wishes. he did help mofan and monkey in constructing nebula and star chart due to this mofan's growth is faster in comparison to the canon and he can already release 2nd level low tier fire attack as demonstrated by tangyue in her class and due to his nagging monkey is also able to cast a wind spell.
Back to school every student is in the formation waiting for their assessments monkey is nervously stating what If he failed even with training he isn't confident with his spell and mofan is reassuring him. Assessment results were the same as in the canon with mu Bai getting A in elemental affinity and B in magic release everyone cheers for him declares him the strongest in the class but there faces were quiet a site to be behold when monkey gets the same result their faces were like constipated person who were forced to eat more and both alex and mofan cheered for him making their faces more ugly. alex name was in the last because as he rarely goes to school and never pays attention so mofan's number came before him and assessment teacher got really pissed when he put his hand in pocket as he did try to stir trouble for mofan assessment but alex number was after him and he directly announces that he wanted another teacher to take his test because he doesn't like his face after his nagging lastly he had to do his job so he did without more complaint and mofan did get the brightest affinity with S level magic release which made everyone face ugly it was quite amusing seeing senior mu face even offering resources. his face thickness was on ultra level even after vicious remarks from mofan about him he completely destroyed his thick face and reputation. alex was laughing off on the vicious remarks and senior mu left after that. At alex turn he got same result as mofan but for release he did same trick as tangyue with smirk showing her. But this doesn't bring surprise because everyone knows he has a special background.
mofan did get a challenge in which he had to duel yu yang a year later for pride but I know it won't even be a fight. I even praised mofan for his vicious remarks and asks for tip which make faces of teachers more ugly.
