The rumors of sightings of a beast spread throughout Desper like wildfire. Those with phones started to send their messages, lores, rumors, lies, and hypotheses to every social media they could find while others texted everyone who was interested in knowing.
In less than an hour, the news had already gotten to more than eighty percent of Desper's population. The Police, Military, and every other major and minor security personnel/company learned of this information and further instilled laws for their safety.
With the degree of lies spreading around, it did cause confusion with some saying that the beast killed Commander Nova while others claimed that Commander Nova was the beast.
