Bea sat, staring at the window, waiting for Allister to come back from his first gym battle. Bea wanted to go to the battle but she got a call from Allister's school saying that he never does his homework and that he was not responsible. Bea had to call them all day trying to make an excuse for him. Suddenly, Allister knocked on the door.
"He's back!!!!!!!!'' Bea exclaimed. Bea rushed to the door excitedly.
"There you are Ali! How was it!?!'' Allister looked up at Bea. Then he rushed to the couch and burst into tears.
"It was horrible!!!!'' He said hugging his special pillow that Bea made him when he was very little.
"Horrible? Why was it horrible?" Bea questioned.
"Everything was horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Bea acted like she knew what he ment but how could everything about the battle be horrible? Bea walked over to the couch with a tissue box in her hands. She handed Allister a tissue. Allister removed his mask and blew his nose in the tissue.
"Now, how about we go camping? Would that cheer you up?"
Allister looked up at his big sister and nodded. They packed their bags, and left.
It was about 7:00, but it was still light outside because it was summer. There were many pokemon in the forest, eevees, fletchlings, and some ghost types too. Ghost types have been Allister's favorite ever since he was 4 years old.
Then, they reached an open field with a few trees. In the middle of the field was a tree stump, a hollow tree stump. Allister and Bea walked to the stump, then they started setting up their tents.
Out of nowhere, a group of Phantump came rushing, they crashed into Bea. Bea fell to the ground.
Allister giggled at what happened, but really, he wasn't happy. He was sad about today's battle.
After they were done setting up camp, Allister and Bea sat down next to a campfire. They were eating chicken nuggets, Allister's favorite.
"So Ali, Why was today's battle Horrible"
"Well" Allister started "The crowd was huge, I never expected so many people to be there… It was, well, frightening."
"But, you have your mask on the whole time, no one will be able to see your face…" Bea told Allister.
"I know! But…" Allister didn't want to continue.
"You know what?" Bea told Allister.
"What." Allister said, looking up at his big sister.
"I'll help you get better at battling if…" She paused for a second.
"If what!" Allister said, wanting to know what Bea was going to say.
"If you do all your homework without complaining. Even about math, and I know you hate math."
"Okay, fine." Allister said but he really hated math. Each time he saw a math equation he got stressed from the symbols. Fractions were his absolute least favorite. Each time he had a fractions problem on his homework, he would just give up.
It was getting late so Bea and Allister went to bed. But in the middle of the night Allister heard a sound coming from outside. It sounded like the crying of a pokemon. Allister walked out of the tent and saw a dreepy stuck in a net. Allister rushed to the poor pokemon and got it out of the net.
"You're okay now…" Allister said softly. But the dreepy didn't fly away, instead it took a pokeball from Allister and showed it to him.
"You want me to catch you?'' Allister questioned.
The dreepy nodded.
"Well okay then, let's get strong together." Allister threw the pokeball and caught the dreepy. Then his rotom phone buzzed. "Dreepy was registered to your pokedex."
Morning came and Bea started doing some training with Allister.
"Machamp, go!" Bea exclaimed as she let out the pokemon.
"Polteigyst, come on out…" Allister said in a tired tone. Bea and Allister just woke up and they haven't eaten breakfast yet.
They battled all morning, without any breaks. Once they finished they started heading back home.
