Chapter 39 - Casting spells

Back at the academy, I locked myself in my room and began to study the techniques. At first, I decided to look at the seven tormentors. According to Keirin, this technique can change depending on the desire of the one who uses it.Each tormentor could be assigned a specific action, attack or defense.

After looking at the entries in the book, I began to project images in my head of how I wanted the tormentors to look with great difficulty, but I managed to project, three tormentors in my head each had their own task, one was the one who took all the damage from the enemy on himself, the second was those who dealt damage in close combat and the third one who supported the life of two standing tormentors.

Closing my eyes, I began to let them out of my head into the real world, opening my eyes, I saw three shadows standing in front of me that looked like an orc and two elves. From the outside it might seem that they are weak, but I changed the concept of tormentors.

If initially they lost their strength and appearance when receiving damage, now the orc became even stronger when received. The elf, the more he dealt damage, the faster his blows were, and last but not least, the third one who supported their life was the one who sucked out the opponent's life force and transferred it to the orc and elf.

Having canceled the spell, I only regretted that it was in my power to summon only three so far. When I opened the book Call of Blood, I was surprised by what was written in this book. Or rather than it was written instead of ink or magic writing, blood was used.

According to the author, he was able to change this technique from one hundred percent to seventy, and this allowed him to fight against hordes of monsters alone. He created shields from the blood of monsters that blocked attacks on him and redirected them to the attackers.

I thought, if you combine the seven tormentors and the call of the blood, what will happen? Is it possible at all and I planned to find out. Calling on three tormentors, I took out a knife and slashed it across my palm, dropping three drops on the floor, I took a pill and closed my eyes, I began to imagine how drops of blood change, one drop of blood took a shield, the other two drops into swords.

The first four attempts were unsuccessful, every time I presented a weapon, the blood began to act strangely, not wanting to take on the image that I sent it to. After the fifth attempt, I decided to drip blood on the tormentors, at first nothing happened, but after a couple of seconds, the orc and elf began to change now they were not silhouettes, but full figures of the orc and elf, their veins looked like a streak of blood going from top to bottom.

Surprised by such a change, I closed my eyes and began to project weapons in their hands. At first, something interfered with me, but after a while, I began to succeed. First, an orc's tower shield appeared; an orc's hand that allowed him to keep the enemy at a distance. And last I created a curved sword in the elf's hand. Deciding to see if this spell set would last, I canceled it and projected again without using my blood.

Three tormentors appeared the first thing I noticed swords and the shield began to shine less, which means I will need to recharge blood magic.

But how many times, and how many times I could not judge, only practice tomorrow will show. Sighing pleased with my tests, I began to get ready without noticing how the time had already passed, it was already early in the morning and a couple of hours remained before the test. Deciding to check whether I had prepared everything, I left the room and headed to the arena from where we would have to be teleported to the hunting grounds.
