Synopsis
Patrick was collage student, it was his final year. He never really had any hardships and that was driving him mad. He had a exercise to do in 2 weeks? He would do it 4 hours before the deadline. He had semestral exam? He would learn day before. He was bored, bored of life, even going out with friends became dull. He wanted some challenges in his life, but there was none. He started reading novels like a mad man. He could finally escape this shitty world. Then came alcohol, immersion was even bigger. One day after heavy drinking and reading. He found himself in a dream... Dream about cultivation, at least he thought so. ====================== This cover does not belong to me. Chapter 1 - - × - = +

It was a hot summer day, and tons of people were spending time outside, but a young man could be seen on his computer. His name is Patrick, and he's a college student. Currently, he's checking his exercises.

"So when was my Server side technology project due date?"

*Click*

"Oh, 17 days ago, well fuck it. Someday, I'll definitely do it, someday..."

And so he turned off his computer and lay on the bed.

You may think, how he was still a college student with that kind of attitude. Well, you couldn't be more wrong, despite his lazy attitude, he was an exceptional student. He never had to try hard, and that lead to the beginning of his downfall. He was bored. Board of life. Nothing in this world could bring him joy.

You could say that he is stupid thinking like that, but you have to remember that he's intelligent. If you know that, do you think he wouldn't know that? Of course, he knows. But knowing is one thing, doing something with it, that's a different story.

"Anyway, It's time to read some novels." And so he started reading, but after a few minutes he thought "Maybe I'll grab some beers, but I'll have to go to the shop." And so he disbanded that stupid thought, he knew alcohol was bad for his organisms. To celebrate that, he took a cigarette, lighted it, and started smoking it. Then he took his phone and continued reading a novel.

"Never mind, where is my backpack?" After a few seconds, he gave up. He scanned his room and thought "Wow my room is in an utter mess." it took him a few good seconds, but "There you are." Then he grabbed his backpack and walk out of the house.

When walking, he pulled out the phone and came back to reading. "Hahaha, I must say that I'm a genius, who would have thought that you can walk and read at the same time." Sometimes living in a rural area have some benefits. In the city, you couldn't just walk and have your eyes on the phone, or you would die, but here? Nothing could stop you. Bins don't count, by the way.

"Ugh, I'm finally here" it took him like 2 minutes, well he just had to go downhill so it's not something impressive, but a year and a half ago he would only drive there. It's definitely progress, but it doesn't matter anyway, because he's skinny af. So he never had to exercise to look good. Yes, despite his lazy style of life, he was looking pretty good.

Standing in front of all those beers, he was facing a dilemma. "Which one should I choose? I'm definitely buying a beer in glass because caned beers suck and don't taste the same. But still, it leaves me with few good choices." There were thirtyish choices. "I'll just buy the cheapest one from the midrange ones." As always.

And so he went to the checkout. "Would you like to buy something else?" The cashier asked "No, thanks" As if he had that much money, just a beer cost him a lot. "That will be..."

"Finally, I'm home." Maybe not finally because the whole trip took approximately 8 minutes, but still in 8 minutes you can do a lot, for example, read a chapter of your favorite novel. Och, that doesn't count because in 5 of these 8 minutes he was doing just that.

After that, he went upstairs and lay on the bed, again. *Psst* Well, before that he opened the beer and took a big sip.

"Ach, cold beer is the best" He was so thirsty after going up that hill, but it was worth it. It was scorching today, so a cold drink was a lifesaver.

And so time passed, chapter after chapter and beer after beer. He was delighted, thanks to his great imagination, that he was living the life of the main character. He had and could do almost everything. And alcohol circulating in his organisms greatly improved his immersion. At least he thought so. When he was finishing his third beer, he heard the sound of opening doors.

"I'm home"

"Welcome back mom!"

He said coming downstairs. He hugged her and then she said

"Were you drinking again?"

"No, definitely not"

"You know that's alcoholism"

"Yes, yes"

"Don't yes, yes, me here. You are drinking almost every day past four months"

"Yeah, I know"

Once again, it's not his fault that life is boring for him. If he had something better to do, he would do that. It's another thing that he is too lazy to find that something. But hey, alcoholism definitely is a negative trait, and so is laziness. However, you have to remember a negative times a negative equals a positive.

After that little exchange, he once again amended to his room and started doing his thing. Time flew by, empty bottles were increasing and after a few hours, there were none left. "Holi shid, thad'z all? Well, gut for mi, tim to use my sicret stash. Jäg****ister I choze you" He was lucky because he had family in Germany, so he always had original Jäg****ister to drink. And it was better than the one that goes to export. Well, not that it matters that much. The difference was miniscule, but still, the difference is a difference.

He continued reading his book, but something strange started to happen, somehow letters started to be blurry. He knew what that meant, but did he stop? Of course not! That's the problem with alcohol, when you start it's very hard to stop.

Some time passed by and so he passed out.

The next morning, he opened his eyes and said "What the fuck?!"

==============================

Well, thanks to everyone who read through it. I'm sorry for my mistakes, but I'm not a native English speaker, I would be grateful if you could point out my mistakes. Also, this is my first time writing, so I don't know how bad it is. I only hope it's readable. I want to make this novel about cultivation, but I don't know much about it (only from novels), so who knows what monstrosity will come out of this. I have to say, despite knowing what I want to write it still took me a few hours.
