Angela couldn't sleep any longer so she decided to freshen up and have a tour of the big castle. She also needed to find the swimming pool which Mathias had told her was beside the foyer of the castle. When she was done, she settled into a tank top and shorts and headed her way downstairs. Her phone began to ring as she strode downstairs and it was Maths who called.
"Are you good, babe?" He asked, worriedly. He still didn't want Angela to be left alone but he had no choice. He hoped he could wrap up whatever he was doing and be by her side till eternity.
"I'm good, just got out of the room, going to get something to eat." She replied.
"You could have called a maid or something, why stress yourself?"
"Don't make it look like I'm a spoiled girlfriend. I don't want a maid where I was only going to check around the house too, should I need a mate to help with that?" She inquired and tilted her head to check if it was Harley that was sitting in the living room, watching a movie. Mathias sighed and she could tell he was worried. "I'm fine Maths, you don't have to sicken yourself. Do whatever you have to do and get your ass down here. I'm missing you already."
"If I get back home, I'm not going to let you leave my side." He told her and she chuckled.
"It will be great of you." She pouted, "Good morning." She referred to Harley immediately after she got down the stairs.
"Who's that?"
"Harley."
"Okay, I will leave you now, make sure you take good care of yourself and don't practice too much, okay?"
"Okay."
"Good. I love you, Angela."
"I love you too, Maths." She whispered and ended the call. Harley was already glaring at her.
"You watch movies?" Angela inquiries winning an arched eyebrow to herself.
"Cause I'm only human." Harley retorted and returned her face to the movie she was watching.
"I thought bodyguards don't have time to watch movies or sort. You especially don't look like you would take the television seriously." Angela taunted.
"I'm sure I'm gonna need some movies to learn skills and knowledge. I'm a bodyguard anyway." Harley said and shrugged.
Angela didn't say anything until she had taken her seat beside Harley, wrapping her legs on the couch and cuddling onto a cushion just like how Harley had done. "Why didn't you go with Mathias?" She appealed and began to watch the movie Harley was watching.
"You don't know why?"
"I don't know."
"You don't know?"
"Because of me?" Angela mumbled and turned to face her.
"You are not such a good guesser." Harley conveyed and smirked at her. "Your boyfriend is overprotective, I have to watch you all day long and miss a lot of things going out there."
"Things like?"
"Never mind."
Angela wanted to make her talk but at that moment, she didn't feel like arguing. She just sat mute, watching the movie.
"I thought you wanted to eat," Harley uttered, remembering Angela of what she came down to do in the first place.
"I don't feel like eating anymore, maybe later."
At around 9 am, Nancy reached the castle and Angela ran up to welcome her in. They hugged each other and walked side by side into the castle. They headed straight to the swimming pool cabin and sat first to have a conversation before they began to practice.
"How are you coping in this big house? I could have died a thousand times if I stayed here without my husband." Nancy disclosed and they both chuckled.
"It's the worst thing that has ever happened to me. But I guess, I'm not bothered since I won't be living here my whole life." Angela admitted.
Nancy nodded her head, approvingly. "You're right but when you get married, this is gonna be your dwelling. That reminds me. When are you two going to get married? You guys aren't getting younger." Nancy divulged with a smile curved on her lips.
At the mention of marriage, Angie began to giggle. Was her friend serious right now? Marriage?
"Nancy, don't you feel you are thinking too far?" Angela asked and laughed again.
"I don't think so, since you guys are back together, you should start preparing for marriage," Nancy said.
"Okay, right. We haven't talked about marriage since we just got back together. So, can you keep the topic for another time? I'm starting to grow goosebumps." Angie complained and rolled her eyes.
"What you mean is that you could start talking about it now, right?"
"Nancy!"
"Fine, I won't say a word but you can think about it." Nancy implied and smirked at her.
Regardless, Angie knew she wasn't getting younger but was she ready to get married? Even if she was ready would it be Matthias?
She had never thought of getting married not until Nancy mentioned it to her. Eventually, if it was going to be anyone, it would be her boyfriend.
"Can we start?" Angela asked and Nancy nodded. Just then, Harley walked in holding a black satchel that contained Angie's new swimming wear. Angie had told her she needed swimming wear and Harley had insisted she get it for her since she didn't want her to leave the castle as Mathias had warned.
Both Angie and Nancy changed into their swimming clothes and some minutes later, they were already in the water. As usual, Nancy was still a little bit faster than Angie but Angela was good at almost all the strokes. They played and raced to do it all over and over again. When they were tired, they both headed straight to the kitchen to make something for their hungry stomach.
They went over to the living room to watch movies. While they were watching a movie, Angie got a call from her manager. She heaved a, 'I've been waiting for your call' sigh before sweeping her hands on the red lever to receive the call.
"Where the hell have you been?" Her manager, Xoxo screamed at her.
"Calm down lady, would you? Let me explain myself" Angie conveyed and chuckled.
"Yes, an explanation that's what I need," Xoxo uttered and from her voice, one could tell she was furious.
"I went out of state."
"Out of state? That's unbelievable." Xoxo admitted. "We came for games and now you're telling me you went out of state? I need a genuine explanation, tomorrow kid." Xoxo said and ended the call.
"My manager is absolutely angry," Angela mumbled to Nancy.
"Good for you." Nancy mocked.
