A man and a woman wearing black clothing came out of the carriage. Both of them are pale to the point that I can see the black veins on their skin. Unlike the daywalker vampires and me, we can retract our fangs back to normal, but primordials can't.
"Welcome, Sir, Madame," Jinn and the woman greeted them.
"Where's the money? We brought the blood as the deal," the primordial man said.
"It's inside. Please come in," Jinn invited them.
"Don't make us a fool, humans. We know that the house is a vampire trap. If we go in, we will never get out. Oh, you know that, don't you?" the male vampire said. "Ah, I forgot, you're not him," he added, furrowing my brows.
Him? Who is he talking about?
I saw Jinn scratch his head.
"Sorry," he said apologetically. "I'll have my men get the money right away."
Jinn instructed two of his men to fetch the bag of money.
"I met the girl you were talking about yesterday," he said.
