"Yeah. I met him in Ceona's memory. I saw it in her blood," I told her. "And also Raven, not you. I got a name."
"Heh. Whatever," Gretel told me.
This woman has a sharp tongue; she probably likes trash-talking.
"Who? The bad one or the good one?" she asked me.
My eyes stared at her smirking face.
"Let me guess, you thought there was only one hooded person, didn't you?" she said, rolling her eyes at me.
"It's Rebel's twin. He was the one I saw in Ceona's blood," I told her, confused.
"Oh? So you didn't see the other one," Gretel said. "I thought you could see everyone's memories in their blood," she said.
"I can only if the owner is alive or the blood was extracted when they are still alive. Ceona was murdered before I could even bite her, and the only blood I consumed was the blood Duluc stored. I only saw a few of her past," I told her.
