What the fuck is Bernard doing here? Why the hell is he doing here?
At this point, I am very mad at him. He is the reason a lot of things have gone wrong recently, and I just wish that he would leave me alone.
"Kalista, you can't say that." Belle says to me, and I roll my eyes.
"In case you have not noticed, his presence irritates me." I reply her.
"That is so sad." Belle says and I feel her recoil.
Right now, I do not give a damn, as I am still trying to understand why I can hardly stand Bernard, but my wolf, Belle, is so drawn to him.
What in the Moon Goddess' name is going on?
"Kalista." He says and turns to look at me. "How are you doing?" He asks.
"I am fine." I reply, looking around and not wanting to look at him.
"What is wrong? Why are you not looking at me?" He asks me.
"Nothing. What are you doing here, please?" I ask him.
