"I have something to show you." Kiara whispers softly, and I am very curious as to why she is looking at me with so many emotions in her eyes.
"Kiara, stop stalling, okay? Please, let me see what you are talking about." I tell her impatiently.
She then speaks. "Alpha Kalista, I would be lying if I said that your absence has not been felt. Things are going on well, but I miss you so much, that I find it really challenging to rule the pack everyday without you being there everyday.
"I am so sorry, Kiara." I say with a forlorn look on my face.
