Flashback.
Back in the dungeon, Bernard Hastings and Layla are still having a discussion.
"I will need to find out what is happening with Kirbidden.I know that this whole kidnap thing was his plan, and something has been going on while you and I have been kept here.
"But, how are you going to find out?" Bernard asks. "With the kind of history that you and the king have, I doubt that he would want to tell you anything." Bernard points out.
'You are right, Bernard. I guess I would have to consult a few friends." Layla says.
"What? What do you mean?" Bernard asks.
"Oh, you just wait and see." Layla chuckles, but Bernard cannot see the glint in her eyes.
"What do you mean?" Bernard asks again.
