Erik panicked when he saw Aryana close her eyes. Her face and lips were especially pale.
"Doctor, what's wrong with my wife?" Erik asked anxiously while supporting the baby that stay still in Aryana's bosom.
"Don't worry, Sir. That is a normal reaction after giving birth. She is exhausted. She will be okay after sleeping. We will move her to the ward after cleaning her up." The doctor said.
Erik took his baby from Aryana and brought it close to his chest. The baby does not appear wrinkled but he could not tell if she looked like Aryana or him.
The baby's eyes blinked open and she looked at Erik with curiosity. Erik gazed into a pair of hazel eyes just like his Aryana.
He took out his cell phone and took a selfie with his daughter.
The nurse took the baby from him.
Erik accompanied Aryana as she was wheeled out of the delivery room to her ward which was situated on the top floor of the hospital. The nurse and the baby followed.
