The following day, Erik and Marlon arrived at the "The Fusion" restaurant, a few minutes before the appointed time. The Fusion was a recently opened restaurant that boasted of Malacan's famous cuisine. But it was also so bold to create new dishes combining ingredients and tastes of the different countries' cuisines. The unique taste of the food brought about by combining different cuisines into one dish made the restaurant famous.
Erik thought that they were early but when he and Marlon walked into the private room, he was surprised to see that Jax and three men were already inside. The men were dressed impeccably. With the backdrop of an unobstructed view of the beautiful lagoon, they looked like they came out of a painting.
"Erik, you are here!" Jax stood from his chair and stepped forward to welcome his cousin. However, Erik's strides were big and powerful so Jax was only able to make two steps but Erik was already in front of him.
