The words that Cassie were about to say, were left hanging on her mouth. Erik's fierce glare silenced her. She felt that his gaze was piercing through her soul and she can hardly breathe.
"When did grandpa became so free and started spreading rumors?" He asked coldly.
"Erik, I…". Cassie stammered. "Actually it wasn't Grandpa George who told my grandpa but it was your father."
"So it was my father." Erik sneered. 'What is trying to do this time?'
"He is just worried about you Erik."
Erik did not believe her. His father was maybe worried but it was because of the company but not because he looked after his welfare.
"He is only worried because the company might suffer losses if something happened to me." Erik said sarcastically.
"Erik…" Cassie said gently. "He is your father. Of course he is worried about you. Whose father wouldn't worry about his son?"
