Aryana sent a message to Erik. She always wanted to be honest with him. She heard a lot about stories where married couples ended up hurting themselves and wasted years of painful separation because of miscommunication that resulted to misunderstanding. She did not want her marriage to end up like that.
Aryana: 'I bumped with Clark at the hospital just now. His dad was hospitalized again. He invited me to dinner. I am having dinner with him as I also need to discuss the proposal he gave me last time.'
She waited but he did not reply. He must be busy with Cassie. Aryana sighed then she put her cellphone inside her bag.
The waiter handed her the menu. She ordered the restaurant's sushi specials, miso soup, grilled salmon and salad.
"You ordered so little. Don't worry, this restaurant is not that expensive. It will not make me go bankrupt." Clark wore a serious expression when he made a joke.
