Two years ago..
Aryana was running barefoot as fast as she could, tears blinding her eyes. She felt so weak and her knees started to buckle and she finally fell on the sand.
"Aryana come back, you bitch! You will pay dearly for what you've done to me." An angry shout filled the air.
'Why are there no people around? It seemed that everyone colluded with this scumbag and just disappeared turning this beach into a ghost town. Where is humanity when you need them.' She mumbled under her breath and lamented her current state.
She heard more curses. Panic and fear coursed through her entire being. Pumped with adrenaline, she struggled and get up on her feet and resumed running. She looked back and was scared when the distance between her and Alex was getting shorter and shorter.
There was only one thing on her mind… escape! She must continue running.
How could she let her guard down? It was stupid of her not to see his true intent.
Her thoughts wandered as she continued to run.
Her cousin and her friends went out to the bar. She did not tag along and she did not mind at all. She did not like going to the bar anyway. She also knew that she will definitely be bullied if she came.
Her cousin brought her along on this vacation so they can have someone prepare the food and clean the house. In short, she was made into a servant. She also did not mind that. She still has a lot of free time to spend on the beach. She heard so much about this paradise island and when an opportunity came, she simply grabbed it.
Finally, she got bored of waiting for Denise and her friends. She went out to feel the sea breeze and enjoy the moonlit night. The beach was deserted as there was an event at the entertainment center two kilometers away. They had gotten a cheap cottage hence the location was far from the good places on the island. She was strolling not so far from their rented cottage when she met Alex. Alex is the best friend of Denise's boyfriend.
"Alex, what are you doing here?" She asked.
"Denise forgot her cell phone and requested me to get it. She said you know where her things are."
"I see."
She let Alex inside. The cottage has a living room, two bedrooms and a small kitchen.
Alex handed her a takeaway milk tea and told her it was from Denise. It was her favorite brand. She was surprised by her generosity of Denise which was unlike her. She thanked Alex and sipped the milk tea but was only able to consume half of the contents.
She did not notice the malice in the eyes of the man standing before her when she drank the tea. The malice turned into disappointment when she only drank half of the glass.
Aryana went inside the room to look for Denise's stuff. She felt something was wrong with her. She was weak and dizzy. Perhaps her mind was a bit jumbled and she realized too late that Alex wanted to have her that night.
She did not notice when Alex entered the room. She became scared when he saw him with eyes full of lust. She ran and hid in the bathroom but he successfully dragged her out and flung her on the bed and pounced on her. She was so panicked Alex succeeded in subduing her. Her strength was nothing compared to a 175cm tall man. It took a lot of her willpower to calm her mind and pretended to surrender and cooperate with him.
Alex pinned her down on the bed. His lips reeked of alcohol was on her lips. She was so disgusted. She almost retched but tried her best not to. She slowly eased from under him so she could be on top of him. When he let his guard down, she bit him hard on the lips. With the remaining strength she has, she kicked him hard on his crotch, picked up her sling bag on the side table and hurried out of the cottage as if a monster was chasing her.

She kept on running as if her very life depended on it.
She did not see the two men in front of her who was walking leisurely.
A loud thud was heard as she bumped into a wall of hard muscles. She fell on her back.
"What the hell!" Erik cursed. He was caught off guard and was out of balance and he almost fell to his knees.
Both he and Marlon looked back and was surprised to be looking down on a half-conscious woman lying on the sand.
Erik bent down and offered his hand to help her up.
Aryana's consciousness was starting to fade.
"Help…. Please help me." She muttered. Her words were almost inaudible.
It was dark on this side of the island but the moon was bright. Erik went down on his knees to help her up. There was something familiar about her.
To Aryana, the world started closing in. The sound of waves slapping the shore was getting distant by the second. The brightness of the full moon started to dim. She was drifting farther and farther away.
The man whom she bumped earlier was kneeling down beside her and his face hovered near her. She blinked her eyes a few times and her heart skipped a beat. She recognized him. This was the man she hated the most for six years.
"Get off her." Alex roared from behind.
Aryana looked at the man above her and held his hand weakly. She had envisioned so many scenarios of meeting him again after that incident six years ago. Never in her wildest dream did she think that their next encounter will be like this. She looked at Erik with pleading eyes.
"Sir Erik, save me!" she begged.
