Seated with his legs crossed on the table and playing with the gold rings on his fingers, Lorenzo's golden eyes immediately shifted to the telephone the second it rang.
He uncrossed his legs and brought it down from the table.
He grabbed the phone and picked it up, then placed it in his ear.
[Hello, Mr. Leon-]
"Leon is not available at the moment. Is there a problem?"
His deep voice resounded, and as though startled, the person on the other side of the phone, who was the receptionist, cleared her throat.
[Bo-boss] She stuttered, and Lorenzo's face scrunched in irritation.
"What is it?" He asked, and the receptionist cleared her throat yet again.
[Boss, there is a woman here who keeps asking for you. She says you're her boyfriend]
She explained and, quite flabbergasted, Lorenzo's face crumpled in offense.
"Outrageous!! I am nobody's boyfriend! Who said that? Who is this woman?"
