"Master, the vampires were a powerful race and were given an opportunity to join 'The Order', which we agreed to join. 'The Council' on the other hand was very mysterious and its members were not known publically. I don't know if that secrecy is still maintained because the info I have is from 500 years ago.
This decision was taken by the upper echelons of the vampire faction and not many were consulted. To them, it was an opportunity to gain further power and expand their dominion in the cosmos.
But there were some groups among the vampires that believed that it was not smart to do someone else's bidding and opposed this decision. And I was part of such a group but to subdue many they hunted the few. Few of us were declared the enemies of vampires and were hunted. Although to this day I don't know if we were chosen randomly or if it was someone's plan.
Having been cornered we joined the 'Resistance' but eventually, that too didn't help and as for my case I had to run away for my life severely injured.
So this is a brief summary of what transpired during the war, to give you a better idea of the situation we are in. And yes you are right in planning to take your tribe out of this planet quickly because I too believe soon we might be caught in the crossfire.

Hearing the whole story Ast got a better perspective of things and the mystery surrounding the Universal system deepened in his heart.
"Viktor you say you have seen my experiences and life through that skill of mine does that means you know about the talent panel I have got as well?" asked Ast.
"Yes master I am aware of its existence and to be quite honest with you it surprises me more than I can show because the existence of that panel according to my knowledge can only be indicative of authority.
To explain it better let me tell you first that in my faction I was among the pioneers who were leading the research about the Universal system. Although our knowledge was only based on some hypotheses still we researched the talents of many people and how it evolves and manifests but never have we ever found anything similar to the panel that you have.
And if my assumption is correct it signifies the authority that you have been given by the system. No one that I knew of was given the choice on how to exercise their powers like you and for others, it was only the skills that came with the talent nothing else and yes when I say this I also include the rarest of the rare SSS grade talent, yes you heard it right I studied the only SSS grade that existed among the vampires but more about that later.
So to sum up your talent and that panel that you have been given are very mysterious and powerful. And I believe as we go along we will discuss and explore them more because I also think that you are no longer a human and not a vampire either."
This statement of Viktor's completely stumped Ast, he knew that he might have changed his race while installing the 'blood monarch' talent but now Viktor was telling him that he was not a vampire either then what the hell was he supposed to be?
Seeing Ast's expression Viktor consoled him.
"Master you don't need to worry about these matters, these would unravel with time itself and you need to focus on escaping this planet first"
Ast didn't say anything and just nodded.
Suddenly Viktor came forward and entered Ast's shadow. "Master this is one of my elemental abilities of shadow element, I will explain in detail later. Your subordinate is near your tribe so we should teleport now" said Viktor but his voice was directly transmitted to Ast's head.
"Master, Focus and try to communicate with me in your mind. When I am inside someone's shadow I can communicate using telepathy" further explained Viktor.
"Ok, let's teleport then we don't have much time," said Ast, speaking while focusing through his mind.
Ast and Viktor were teleported near the Chrome tribe, which surprised Dave. They saw that the trees nearby were all on fire and shouts of people wailing were coming from the direction of the Chrome tribe.
Ast grew nervous hearing the disturbing noises and he hurried over using his full speed.
