While sleeping, Garrett suddenly felt like a large mountain just fell on him, it has a lot of legs and was covered in prickly furs jumping up and down the bed.
Grunting angrily, after trying unsuccessfully to get the large bug off him, Garrett screamed
" Charlie, come get your giant pest off me"
He heard no reply from his older brother, so he decided to use his full strength and angrily throw down the giant spider from the bed but the spider simply got up and continued pestering him.
" Enough Amar, enough, leave me alone, go downstairs and disturb Charlie, your owner" Garrett said chasing the beast out of the room before getting ready for the day.
You see Garrett stepmother, sister and brother are beast masters while him and his father are werewolves.
I know right now, you are wondering how to came to be. well it all happened years ago ( four years to be exact), when a young Garrett watched his father proposed to his now stepmother and father former female best friend at a fancy restaurant. At that time, he was completely frozen from the shock, then as reality dawned on him, he became sad, angry and felt wronged and then those emotions metamorphosis into hatred, feeling of betrayal and even more anger.
Garrett immediately caused a scene, throwing tantrums and rejecting the proposal before even Lucy ( his stepmom) could answer. He could feel his chest getting heavy, his heartbeat was increasing faster as time went, words became strong stones stuck in his throat and his stares became hot, searing daggers aimed at the pair before him.
In a fit of rage, he transformed into a giant werewolf, jumped at Lucy with the determination to reap her to shreds. His father immediately stepped in front of Lucy and took the attack head on, with one hand inside the large werewolf mouth and the other hand on the beast chest pushing it back before it could hurt his future wife. Lucy immediately summoned her beasts to protect her while the other onlookers dived in to stop the situation from worsening.
Garrett immediately started attacking everyone that came near him, but within that split second of letting his dad go, to claw at an approaching figure, he received a heavy punch that turned his sight dark and sent him to the world of dreams.
" I was told that crimson werewolves were big but this isn't big but gigantic" one of the onlookers said staring at the large beast slowly turning back to a kid
" What happened, why did he suddenly attacked the couple" a old lady dressed as a witch inquired
" Because he is a werewolf, I bet he was just hungry and wanted to eat them" a vampire said in disgust
" But I thought those were his parents, are you telling me that he tried to eat his own parents" a beast master with a golden eagle on his shoulder asked doubtfully
While everyone else were busy discussing among themselves, James simply pay for his food, bid goodbye to Lucy, pick up his son and left the restaurant. outside, he stopped a spectacular flying vehicle with wings but before he could enter the vehicle.
The human driver upon seeing the unconscious kid and the rough looking man with bloodied clothes, immediately drove off but luckily for James, someone called the police and he was able to hitch a ride with them home.
At home, James has a heart to heart talk with his son and it turns out out that Garrett felt that Lucy was going to replace his mom, he didn't want Lucy to marry his dad because being an only child, he was used to getting all his dad love and attention but with a new mom and siblings, he wouldn't get all the love and attention anymore and he also felt that his dad was betraying him and his mom by developing feeling for someone else and trying to bring them into the family.
James then assured Garrett that he would always love and protect him, he reminded his son that it is ok to always keep the memlory of the ones you love in your heart, but you should also move on in life and that he was going to love having siblings. He said it will make his childhood even more colourful and he even told his son of the adventures he has with his siblings when they were young.
Although, Garrett still didn't want the marriage to happen, he could only swallow his emotions and watch as his dad marry his stepmom.
After getting ready and coming downstairs to the living room filled with creatures of all shapes and sizes moving about, his brother was lying on the couch with his phone and headset on, surfing the internet while listening to music, his mom and little sister were both in the kitchen cooking and they had a monkey helping them and his dad was sitting on the couch watching the news report.
On the TV, a male newscaster is seen reading the daily headlines.

Garrett wasn't interested in the daily report, so he took his phone from where he charged it and started playing games.
Sometime later, James and his two sons are seen sparring in the backyard, James is seen fighting both of his sons barehanded with a calm smile on his face like he was taking a stroll in the park while Charlie and Garrett were both exhausted and panting heavily.
Garrett was in his werewolf form leading the attack and acting at the vanguard with Amar Charlie pet, they were both providing cover for Charlie who couldn't fight close battles but was good at attacking from afar with his now and arrows.
" Are you guys tired already, maybe am still too tough for you, should I call Mabel to come fight you instead" James teased his sons
Garrett being angered by the taunt, immediately ran towards James while swinging his claws at him but James simply stepped to the left and right while bending over so slightly to dodge the attacks.
Charlie seeing this immediately ordered Amar to fire a web net at James left because he calculated that, that was the likely place their father would move in to dodge Garrett attacks. But not wanting to leave any way out, he also fired an arrow towards James left.
James having nowhere to evade the barrage of attacks, grabbed Garrett hand and threw him into the web net which tied him to the ground, before dashing towards Charlie at superhuman speed, Amar immediately jumped at James trying to bite him while Charlie fired a flurry of arrows at him. But their efforts were futile because James slided under Amar dodging the attack before knocking all of Charlie arrows out of the way and slamming him against the ground.
while James was basking in his victory, the doorbell rang and Emeka entered the house without anyone opening the door for him with a worried expression.
