Takumi greeted him as he entered the door of his house. Turns out, the house is still the same as before. Quiet and dark.
When his legs touched Genkan, the area of taking off his shoes, Takumi immediately sat down sluggishly. He didn't even take off his shoes first and instead lay down on the steps into the main room.
Takumi's energy felt exhausted even if it was just to walk to his room.
It was already night, but even though it was evening, the Akazawa residence always looked so dark. Again, Takumi felt that he had to face all of this alone.
In times of exhaustion and loneliness like today, Takumi always dreams that there will be a father figure by his side, the only adult who still wants to accommodate Takumi. However, that father figure is never around Takumi and Yui, Takumi's older sister who currently lives in the girls' dormitory.
Takumi understands about his sister's decision to live in a dormitory. At the very least, the dormitory would probably be busier than their house. Takumi becomes jealous because his sister is able to find her own happiness.
Meanwhile, Takumi is still trapped alone in this spacious house that is so quiet.
Takumi's body felt cold, but his heart was much colder right now. The house is indeed quiet, but Takumi's heart is much more lonely.
Even in the end, Takumi couldn't rely on his own father when Takumi desperately needed a friend to pour out his heart. Takumi wanted to have someone to lean on and whom Takumi would rely on. Takumi needs someone to kill this torturous loneliness.
Takumi didn't know why he was complaining a lot lately. In fact, usually Takumi doesn't mind even though he lives alone in this spacious house. Takumi felt that this house had been crowded before.
