"How could you!"
Akio slammed his fist on the table, eyes staring at Vin who composed himself, not saying a single word.
"S–"
"Don't you dare say a single word!"
Vin kept his mouth shut. From the look of Akio's face, a single word could flare his temper up.
".... Firstly, you started the fight--"
"I wanted to–"
"Then, you almost killed him–"
"No I didn't, I only–"
"SHUT UP! WHY ARE TALKING?"
Hearing his harsh tone, Vin slipped into the chair, eyes on the ground.
Akio looked at him with a relaxed face. Vin's reaction showed more than an apology.
"Vin," he called softly.
"Y-yes Sir?"
"You will have to face a punishment for what you've done. Honestly, I don't know what your motives were, when you faced Ita, and the reasons you stated actually gave little to no sense!"
"I wanted to get more points for the others!" Vin mumbled.
"I have to make you understand the penalty. One, you won't leave your room until the end of this week, losing a total of 200 pts!"
"Wait what!" Vin stood up, surprised by Akio's words. "You can do that!"
"Of course I can, I'm literally the one who's placed in your guidance and inspection. So, if you do anything wrong, I'll be called by the council, Again!"
"Again?!"
"Yes, Again. So, you do better Obey, or else you will be more than suspended and face worse penalties" Akio took a deep breath, he hated all this kind of work. "Do as you are told! Understood?!"
"Yes Mr Akio!" Vin said.
"It would be worse if you had killed Ita. Cus' he got the lead in Rank A. More importantly, he's the Son of the strongest Necromancer and the grandson of the Great Wizard, Dorvoc, so please stop bumping your head into something you don't understand, okay?"
"Yes Mr Akio!" Vin clenched his fist tightly, his knuckles became white (which was because of Akio's words.)
The darkness within hated being commanded.
[Damnit, I could have not taken that ritual! What chance did I have back then?]
"Okay, leave and lament on your sins! And don't ever show such behavior again!" Akio rebuked him, with the highest level of seriousness.
"Got it!" Vin walked out of the room. His head kept repeating the scene of how Ita looked at him with fear.
[My Eyes! He saw my eyes! I'm happy the scene was cleared at that time. Oh, I wonder if I will regret my days in Zenphek?.]
Akio sat close to the window, adjusting some books on the nearby table.
"For real, what is that boy? Who is he? That attack has almost gotten to a god level. The strength, the persistence, those moves…. I can't believe a child could've mastered that intensity. Who the hell is he?" He muttered while opening some books. With mind and body divided, he closed them all. "Snow showed a reaction to Vin's power and words–"
A knock on the door interrupted his thoughts.
"Mr Akio, The Council asks for your presence!" A male voice said from outside. It was one of the student council presidents, Darren.
"Ugh! I don't like talking to the Council!" He whispered softly.
"Sir-"
"I'm coming!"
"Okay Sir!" Darren quickly walked away. Never having to walk into the office to pass the information, he was no fool to realize there was a heating tension.
"I wonder what the Council will tell Mister Akio?" He said to himself. "They were the ones who planned that so-called test, yet it didn't go their way. Seeing the ability of Vin, a Ranked D mage, I'm sure they will all have different opinions. Especially Rukamon! I hate that man!"
Darren stopped walking, his eyes glowing in hate.
"When I become a mage, fully, I'll kill him!."
_____
Vin laid down on the soft bed. His eyes, on the ceiling.
[Room arrest? Please, is that even a thing?]
He let out a long boring sound, before turning to his side….
"My Lord, how did it end?"
Vin jumped out from the bed, his heart racing when he saw a cat talking.
"Who the F-"
"It's me, Sebastian."
Vin blinked in disbelief, but when he saw the skilled design on the monocle which neatly and elegantly rested on his eyes, no doubt it was him.
"How are you a cat?"
"My lord, shapeshifting is part of my power, I can assume and collect the shape of anything. Be it a human, demon, monster or even an animal" Sebastian said, walking towards him.
"Stay where you are cat Sebastian, and tell me why you are a cat"
"The entire surroundings in Zenphek, has an alarm which will go off if any Darkness is detected–"
"I'm in the body of an overpowered Demon Lord, who is the real definition of pure Darkness and this 'alarm' hasn't detected me for more than four months!"
"Would you allow me to explain Why?" Sebastian offered.
"Yes, go ahead!"
"The magic in which you use to conceal your identity as Dravil, is a spell at another level. Not only did you foolishly yet wisely place it on a hood, you allowed the spell not to wear out unless pulled down, which is actually nearly impossible" Sebastian brought out a white board, where he explained all, with some funny drawings. "But as you can see, your mindset is also your other aid. If you are the one who pulls the hood down, the effect takes place immediately and you will transform into Dravil. However, if someone pulls the hood down, the transformation doesn't take place instantly. Roughly five seconds."
"What's the difference between Instantly and five seconds?" Vin asked, chewing on some chips.
"You will have at least, Time!"
"Great!"
"With that a–"
"One more thing" Vin dragged the jacket downwards, revealing a black snake symbol, with the head large enough to see. "This snake–"
"Don't let anyone see it!" Sebastian warned him quickly.
"Erm… reason?"
"They will know instantly that you are Dravil. No doubt about it. And your entire plan is ruined."
Hearing and listening to all his words, Vin noted and memorized them all.
"Understood. Now, why are you here in the first place?"
"I couldn't help myself but ask, How was the ceremony? The gathering? You never said anything concerning it My Lord."
Vin frowned when he recalled all, "Oh I hated it. I will need some purifying, because my body is filled with different and various Darkness"
"My Lord, do tell!"
"So, after I ate the Fraberries Nina gave me, the madness began…."
