RIVER
Bain held so much authority in his voice and was very intelligent when he spoke. He did not speak to them to cause fear but to educate them as a true leader should. After talking with Georgia about their ways and traditions, when he asked if there was anything else I smiled and looked straight at the guard who electrocuted me.
I knew that it was a ballsy move for the future Luna. I rose my hand. "Yes River," Bain said to me I can see curiosity within him stirring at what I was about to announce. "I have read and been taught these packs traditions and ways the last couple of weeks, and I challenge him to a sparring match right here, right now." Everyone moved out of my line revealing the one I was calling out in the challenge. He gulped when he seen me and looked directly at his Alpha.
With the challenge being made no one was able to stop nor interfere, I could tell Bain was very unhappy about this, but he needed to chill I can take care of myself, and it was only sparring not life or death. Willow was sad to upset her mate this way, but we had a point to make and we both had already agreed to do this.
Bain stood in between us giving me caring glance before he spoke. "This is a sparring competition either submit or pin your opponent until the count of five, you choose the form you would like to take by coin toss." That was intriguing keeping everyone on toes so they couldn't strategize immediately and had to learn from experience. Bain flipped coin "Human heads, wolf tails." The coin dropped and Bain was very interested to see how it landed. "Tails." Bain shouted I could see his excitement to see Willow for the first time. We are kind of different than your average, but it did not bother me I will never hide Willow away.
We entered into the circle for the fights and every gathered around, they were very interested in seeing my wolf for I was their soon to be Luna, and Willow was basking in this wanting to show herself and I was happy to oblige.
BAIN
Conner, one of our top fighters, who was also the one who personally held the high voltage taser used on River. He was nervous when she challenged him because he did not want to defy me, but I let him and Dakota his wolf know it was a challenge and I hold no ill will. I was worried about River; Conner took pride in being a fighter a great one at that.
When we entered the circle and I announced the rule, Conner was the first to shift. His muscular dark brown wolf was standing there staring at his opponent across from him, my mate. He was large not as large as a ranked Alpha but large none the less. His eyes now gold showing us Dakota was now front and center. He had few scars crossing his shoulders and one down his snout. You would not see them in human form, we only show scars that occurred in human form as humans and what occurred during the wolf form as our wolves.
Now I heard a chuckle and seen it was from River who looked at Conner and Dakota sizing them up and then quickly shifted. I swear you could hear a pen drop a mile away through the silence. She was huge, as big as Conner maybe a little bigger. She was a light grey with a few scars down her back. The tips of her fur were jet black, and she was stunning. Blaze was in awe of his mate just as I was. She did not wait she lunged right at Conner knocking him a few feet back from being shocked from her transformation. Dakota shook it off and lunged back, they were both landing kicks and clawing. She was amazing standing her own against one of my best.
After fifteen minutes she found her opening sliding underneath Dakota and grabbing him by the throat with her teeth and he quickly submitted. She then went to change rooms and came back with another long sleeve and leggings. All the wolves quickly barred their necks not just as submission but a sign of respect for their Luna. I stared in awe and puffed my chest in proudness of my mate.
