A knock in the door woke Lin Yan up, she could see the sun peaking out from the window. "I can't believe I slept so late." She said to herself, then she heard a knock again on the door.
After getting permission to come in, a maid came in with breakfast on a tray.
"Am I not eating on the dinning table?"
The maid looked at Lin Yan strangely and said "Madam has always had breakfast in her room."
Lin Yan could guess that Shen Yi never ate with Li Lingyun and his daughter. She smiled at the maid and said "I will eat at the dinning table from now on."
The maid was shocked, they all knew she hated even looking at her husband and daughter. She nodded her head and then return to set Lin Yan breakfast on the table.
Li Lingyun who was having breakfast while Gu Wei reported his schedule was surprised when the maid set another plate on the table. He asked "Who is this for?"
"It's for me."
Lin Yan sat down and look at the nice breakfast prepare for her, she noticed Li Lingyun gaze and looked back at him "Where is Li Xiao?"
After staring at her for a few seconds, he said "She is with her grandmother."
"Oh. Then when will she be back?" Lin Yan asked again, apart from finding out the truth about her death, she has also decided to spoil Li Xiao as much as she could.
At this point even Gu Wei was surprised. Why was his boss wife acting so strange.
"Later this evening" Li Lingyun replied.
"Then... Can I pick her up?"
"No"
"Of course not."
Lin Yan was a little bit surprised by the way she was rejected by not only Li Lingyun but even by Gu Wei. She looked at Li Lingyun and asked "Do you consider me a threat to my daughter?"
Gu Wei scoffed and Li Lingyun with no expression in his face replied "Lin Yan is dead. The Li family will be holding her funeral today. I wasn't planning on attending but since she died in front of my company I have no choice. Do you want come with me?"
Even without knowing the truth, Lin Yan felt like that was a very cruel question. He was practically asking her to attend her own funeral. But perhaps that wasn't a bad idea, maybe she would finally find out the truth about her death.
"Yes, I will come with you. Just give me some minutes to change my dress.'
Even though he was surprised he did not show it. This was actually the first time Shen Yi has actually agreed to go anywhere with him, he just nodded her head and said "Don't take too long."
"Are you really allowing her to go with you?" Gu Wei asked his master. But Li Lingyun kept quiet as if he didn't even hear what he said.

The Li family had a funeral ground where they buried their families. They believed that as members of the Li family they should not be bury just anywhere.
Lin Yan saw a lot of people she did not even recognized at her funeral. She sat beside Li Lingyun at the front row waiting for Li Jun to give a speech, when Li Jun came up. She saw his haggard expression and he looked like someone who hasn't slept for days. Her heart went out to him, even though he betrayed her with another woman she still loved him. And then her mind went back to the conversation she overheard at Li Lingyun office. But looking at Li Jun she knew that he must have been wrong. Li Jun would never cover up her death, he would never have a hand in her accident. She clenched her hands tightly as Li Jun began his speech.
"Thank you all for being with me on this day. Lin Yan was a beautiful woman, I fell in love with her at first sight, she was nice, kind-hearted and gentle. Infact I was really lucky to have a woman like Lin Yan as my wife."
"Then why did you cheat on her?"
Everybody gasp at that question. A lot of business men and even the media came to attend the funeral. So they all wondered who would dare to disrupt this event like this.
Lin Yan was frozen on her seat, she could recognize the voice of her brother anywhere but how did he know that Li Jun cheated on her. At that moment she looked at Li Lingyun and saw his stoic face. Somewhere in her, she knew he had a hand in this.
Li Jun face on the other hand darkened, he looked at his brother in-law and asked "What do you mean by that? I understand that you are sadden by your sister's death but that does not give you the right to slander me in my wife funeral."
"She loved you. Regardless of how many times I told her that you were a wolf in sheep clothing, she still loved you, but all you and your family gave to her were pain and misery."
"Mr. Li do you have any idea what he is talking about. Did you really cheat on the late Mrs. Li" A reporter asked.
Li Jun gave the reporter a look which was able to shut him up. He glanced at his personal assistant Wu Bin, and he nodded.
Within minutes, five security men came and took him away as Li An screamed "You killed my sister!"
Li Lingyun who was quiet throughout the scene glance at Gu Wei and whispered "Ensure they do nothing to him."
Even though it was a whispered, Lin Yan still heard those words and without knowing, she let out a sigh of relief. Because she knew those security guards were going to harm him. She got up from her seat, trying to look for her brother when she saw 'her'. She saw the same woman who Li Jun cheated on her with. And once again she and Li Jun were together but it was as if they were discussing something, she closer to be able to hear their conversation.
"Why are you here?" Li Jun asked in anger.
"I came to be here for you." Fang Min said.
"Do I look like someone that needs a shoulder to cry on. Remember all these would never have happen if not for you."
"I did what I had to. I made a decision for you, me and our daughter, to be a family."
"You made a reckless decision without consulting me first. Do you know what I had to go through to clean up your mess. I told you I will handle Lin Yan but instead of waiting for me, you killed her."
"And I don't regret it. I admit I made a mistake with the driver but you took care of it. Nobody knows what happened and even if her brother accused you of cheating, there is no proof."
"My uncle knows. I am sure he was the one who told Li An about it."
"Then why don't we get rid of Li An."
"Because.... "
Li Jun heard a noise and then he turned and saw Shen Yi.
He was sure that she heard their conversation but knowing Shen Yi, she wouldn't mind. If there was one thing he liked about Shen Yi was that she never got involved in things that didn't concern her. The only thing she cared for was that fool Mu Chen. He thought Shen Yi would go away but he was surprised when she didn't but instead she asked "Are you really planning to get rid of the brother just like you got rid of the sister?"
"And why do you care Shen Yi. You have always mind your business, I will really want you to do so right now. Pretend you didn't hear anything."
"Would you also get rid of me if I do not agree to pretend that I heard nothing. You know Li Jun, you got everyone fooled even me, I thought you at least loved your wife, how disappointing." At this moment, every sherd of love she had for this man was shattered.
"Why don't you worry more about your child, who you have abandoned than me. You do not want to get involved in matters that doesn't concern you." Her child. Yes, she would never forget her child that was killed.
"And if she gets involved, what would you do? Who exactly has given you the audacity to speak to my wife like that? Tell me Li Jun."
