Li Lingyun rushed to the hospital and saw Lin Yan looking at the ceiling silently. She was awake? She was finally awake.
"Lin....."
"Mr Li." The doctor suddenly called.
Li Lingyun turned to look at the doctor and asked "Is she alright?"
The doctor sighed and said "I can't tell for sure how she is doing. Ever since she woke up, she has refused to say a word and has just kept looking at that ceiling."
Li Lingyun looked at Lin Yan again and saw that her gaze has never left the ceiling, "Give a moment with her."
The doctor nodded and left.
Li Lingyun walked closer to Lin Yan and held her hand but there was still no reaction from her. "Won't you even look at me?" He said softly.
"It was dark and scary." Lin Yan suddenly said.
Li Lingyun sighed in relief when she spoke and held her tightly. "I'm sorry. You only got shot because of me, if I had protected you then you would never have been in such a dark and scary place."
