Tamara's POV.
Because of the sudden shock, I didn't realize I had already cut my finger.
"Tamara! You're already bleeding! For heaven shake, what are you thinking?" my mother snatched the knife I was holding. And I immediately looked at my damaged finger, which was also starting to heal.
"Oh, I'm okay, mom. The knife just slipped a bit," I reasoned and smiled to get rid of my mother's concern.
"Tamara, we healed quickly, but if our injuries are severe, it leaves a scar on our skin. I already told you that, but you still ignore my warning!" My mother continued to preach. I hugged her tightly to make her at ease.
"It's not that deep, so don't get mad. Promise I'll be careful next time," I state and kiss her on the forehead.
"Hmm, next time, I won't ask you to help me in the kitchen. Since I'm done, you can leave me now," I couldn't help but laugh as my mother shoved me out of the kitchen.
