"Al I've told u many times I don't like it when you bring up this kind of topic when we meet," he warned
"Relax bro, I was just joking no need to make a fuss about it." Al chuckled
"Okay, so apart from women what else have u been up to," Austin asked after some minutes of silence.
"Just business here and there. Yh that reminds me, I'll bring the contract to your office tomorrow so that you can review it. If the contract pushes through, that will be my second biggest sale with the same app. " Al said
"Wow.... That's good news to hear but tomorrow I will not go to the office. " Austin informed.
"Why?" Al enquired.
"I've decided to bring work home so that I can keep an eye on my pregnant wife"Austin informed.
"Why is everything alright?"Al asked with interest.
"Yeah, everything is fine with her I just want to keep an eye on her" Austin said.
"So u mean you are going to manage her from now onwards" Al snickered
"Al, my wife is not a company she owns one rather. And I respect my wife unlike you that who misuses women. " Austin said in an angry tone.
"Considering my past I don't think you should preach to me about respect, especially for women. See, they all want one thing and that's money as long as u can provide them that they will stick to you like glue." Al retorted.
"I understand you but you should know that not all women are the same some are different," Austin advised him but he knew his friend like the back of his palm. Listening to advice is not his thing but he will not stop you either and that's what keeps Austin going hoping that one day he can crack this hard nut.
They sat down chatting about other stuff for some minutes.
"I think it's time for me to go now it's quite late " Austin announced starting at his watch.
"Bye then... I will stay here for some time" Al announced
"Okay then am off. Don't drink anymore it's okay. Remember, you are driving home by yourself." Austin advised.
"I hear you, son. See u tomorrow" Al chuckled as Austin made his way out of the premises. Just then the ladies began to glide over Al.
***9:25GMT**Austin's House ***
Upon arriving at his house Austin found his lovely wife sitting in the corridor in front of the house. Despite the belly, she still looked beautiful during her 6 months of pregnancy. He parked the car, handed the key to one of the security guards, and rushed to his lovely wife.
"Why are you home so early. "Scarlet said when her husband came closer.
"Welcome home my dear husband... Oooo, thank you, my wife." Austin said sarcastically.
"Sorry..."Scarlet apologized.
"No need to apologize dear "Austin said caressing her cheeks.
"By the way what happened." Scarlet enquired.
"Well, nothing happened, just the usual talks and his arrogance. Nothing more." He answered.
"That still doesn't answer my initial question.....why are u home this early. I hope u guys did not fight or something."Scarlet knew about Al's behavior of talking rudely about women and she also knows that Austin doesn't like those talks especially when it's about her. They have gotten into fights many times over this matter, the only advantage is that their fights do not even last a minute since they are the best of friends.
"Naah....we didn't fight I just had to be here because I knew u wouldn't go to sleep until I return so I needed to come home early. " He answered as he kissed her forehead.
