Chapter 22 - Life to the Fullest

Justin laid on his bed in a weird position. He couldn't actually find any good position because whenever he moved, his headache would hurt more than it did before. His hands rested on his head as he stared at the night sky through his room window.

The clock on the wall of his room said it was 8:34pm which meant the party bus must have left without him and he had undeniably disappointed Annabella.

He had started to prepare for the party, planning to leave by 6:40pm when signs of headache had started showing up. At the time, he had just brushed it off seemingly happy over the fact that he would be attending a party meant for teenagers.

He had never once gotten to the chance to attend those because of his silent personality so this would have likely been his first who knew he wouldn't have the chance to go at all.

He sighed thinking about how the pain had started to increase and how he could no longer handle it. He had laid down on his bed for support and had been lying down there ever since then.

Whenever he moved his body for a better position, the headache would hit him hard as though he was continuously being stabbed. His thoughts wandered in the dimly lit room. He chuckled softly, a chuckle filled with disappointment and loneliness.

What a fool he was, what a big fool he was, he thought helplessly as he wiped the tears at the corner of his eyes. For thinking that someone like him could actually ever enjoy life to the fullest, how could he have been so foolish?

He stared out the window and his lips quivered as he cried silently. His thoughts roamed off to the memory of when he had just been diagnosed of the disease, brain tumor. He was just thirteen at that time and he had felt his whole world crumble.

It was actually very stupid of him to think he could rebuild it. He was stupid to think that he could care about people and could let them care about him as well. He was so damn stupid to forget people like him don't make such choices, they can't love the world and they can't make people love them either.

He moved his body to lie in a more comfortable position but it only made his head hurt more and his eyes watered instantly causing him to shed more tears.

He was so dumb to think he could have dreams. Someone's whose fate had already been decided, a fate where they had to die In the end. Such persons really couldn't have dreams, and that was the damn truth.

His phone beeped once more and he sighed tiredly before angrily throwing the phone towards the wall. It made a crack sound and he was sure it was finally broken. She had given him twenty missed calls and twenty messages already, why won't she just stop?

" Leave me alone Annabella", he muttered silently to himself. " Just leave me the hell alone", he muttered once again, his heart feeling so lonely.

All through out the ride to the party location, Bella remained ever so silent. The bus was as noisy as hell as students got acquainted with one other and made a hell lot of noise. Adrenaline was surging through everyone who were anxious to know where Jennifer Hoechlin was taking them.

Her mind was no longer on the surprise party. She just felt fooled once again. Why did he have to be like that? She thought they had something that could be related to friendship. She was even ready to make him one of her very good friends but yet he had gone and broken her trust.

She sighed turning off her phone as the bus finally stopped moving. Miles who was seated next to her finally noticed her mood which was not matching the cheerfulness of every one else.

But before he could ask what was wrong, half of the girls in the bus had screamed crazily while others gasped in awe. He quickly turned to stare at what had made them react that way and he smiled at the beautiful sight.

Everyone started to get off the bus in excitement. Pulling Bella up, he decided within him that he would make sure she enjoyed the night.

Jennifer smiled at the awe in everyone's faces. Just a while ago she had been so down due to the fact that Duke and Riley were behaving like they were madly in love right in front of her. She didn't think she could ever feel so left out in his life but she did.

" Wow Jenny baby, I got to give it you, you are a good host", Tony her ex boyfriend exclaimed and she smiled proudly at the venue. She had announced the party to get over her recent break up but it ended up turning into a party for fun in which the ex was also invited.

She was proud that she had chosen to celebrate the party in the most expensive cinema in Bordertown. One ticket cost a lot and many teenagers adored this movie theater.

She smiled smugly as she led the way in and everyone followed behind. She made them wait as she spoke to the receptionist and two well dressed advanced women came to attend to them and they all started walking round the theatre.

" What's the movie we are watching, I won't be satisfied until I know", Pam finally spoke as she held into Kai's muscled arm while resting her head on his shoulder lovingly as they moved along. Wasn't it quite uncomfortable?

Everyone turned to stare at Jennifer as if she was the only one with the answer and she chuckled softly. " Also, I think we all notice how you, Bella, Miles, Duke and Sasha are literally dressed in the same outfit so what's the name of the movie", a dark skinned boy from her math class said and they all nodded.

Sasha smiled at their enthusiasm as they finally got to two double doors guarded by two strong looking men. She smiled and quickly said, " What's the use of asking, when we are already there. But if you all must know, it's The Thief And The Cop", She said as gasps erupted from everyone.

Bella only smiled calmly as Miles held her to himself. Laura was one of the people who didn't show up because she had actually gone on a trip with her family. They were a total of thirty two students present.

" Vamos guys", Gabriella, the Spanish student from earlier yelled as they all stormed in. They could chose their own seat and it was so cool. The party was going to be memorable indeed and for all.
