[Location: Space, Outside Planet Aitera]
In space, there was a Starship located in a certain sector within a galaxy. This sector was known for holding the most planets compared to the other sectors.
In the Starship, there's loud alarms echoing throughout the ship, people panicking rushing room to room. It seemed like they were expecting some form of confrontation from an enemy.
On the top floor of the starship, there was a room where two guards were stationed outside. Inside, which looked to be a delivery room, there were five people located within the room. Of those five people, there were four women and one male.
Three women were one doctor and two nurses. The doctor was a middle-aged woman, had long black hair that was in a bun, violet colored eyes that had a glint of determination . She wore bright blue scrubs with black shoes. She had a tiring expression on her face. The two nurses looked to be twins. They both had red hair which was in two buns. Both had green colored eyes. They both wore pink colored scrubs. They were both expressionless, like robots waiting for a command.
"Keep pushing! That's it, you're doing great Flora!" yelled the Doctor. 'She's almost there, I can see its head' thought to herself.
"Aaaaah...Humph...Urrrgh!" yelled Flora.
The other woman named Flora was close to delivering her baby. Under normal circumstances she would be a beauty that all men would stop and turn their heads. However, she now had messy black hair, bright verdant eyes that had a glint of tiredness. She wore a blue nightgown with both of her legs in a arched angle. She had a pained expression on her face. She was sweating from pushing long periods of time.
"W-Will?!" yelled Flora.
"I'm right here! Don't worry, I'm with you" said William. He was holding her hand while feeling helpless.
William was the husband of Flora who was giving emotional support to his wife. He is a very handsome man. He had dark brown hair, bright blue eyes that flashed with worriedness. He was wearing a white jumpsuit which looked like a uniform belonging to an organization. On his uniform, there were numerous badges located top left of his torso.
"The head is poking out! Just a few more pushes!" cried Doctor
"You're doing great, Honey!" yelled William
Both clearly encouraged her to keep pushing as the baby was delivered.
"URRGGGGG-" yelled Flora as she was interrupted by a loud crying voice,
"...aaaAAAAAH! WAAAAAH!" cried from the delivered baby.
'It's here! Finally!' Doctor thought to herself as she grabbed him to see if the baby's healthy. "Let's see...It's a healthy beautiful boy, Congratulations." said the Doctor as she handed the baby to one of the nurses while glancing at the clock.
The nurse who grabbed the baby started to wipe him down, then she handed him to his mother.
When Flora grabbed her son, tears started to shed from her eyes due to happiness and relief. She looked at her precious son with teary eyes and a soft smile appeared on her face as she said
"My beautiful boy...Sniff...Look dear...he's got your nose"
"Hopefully that's the only thing he gets from me! Hahaha!" William laughed then continued "He has your eyes, those bright green eyes". William looked at his son with a proud smile and kissed Flora's forehead.
The Doctor walked up to Flora and William with a happy smile and asked
"Do you have a name for your son?"
Flora and William looked at each other for a second before looking at their son and they both said
""Abel""
'Patient Flora delivered Patient Abel at 14:23 p.m.' The Doctor thought to herself.
As they continued to hold Abel for a half an hour, a Fleet Officer came and rushed in and yelled
"Sir William, They will be out of hyperspace within forty-five minutes!"
Flora looked at William and saw his expression changed to a big frown. She knew what was going to happen but didn't want it to happen.
William glanced at Flora and saw her worried expression and felt his heart tightened.
"...Flora...It's time we say our goodbyes" said William
Flora started to cry and looked at her son feeling hopelessness and weakness because she knew that what was about to happen was to keep him safe.
But how could she not worry? How could she not cry and worry about the dangers her son was going to face? How could she not feel weak that she couldn't help her son?
It wasn't just Flora feeling this. William had the same thoughts and worries as her, but kept a cooled expression to help his wife with upcoming issue.
Flora hesitated and gave Abel kisses on his forehead and cheeks, hugging him closely and for a brief moment of silence she said
"Abel...I know you're going to do great things when you grow up. Unfortunately, Mommy and Daddy won't be there for your first words, or your first steps or any of your firsts in your life. You're going to have a hard road ahead, harder than most. I hope you won't be alone in this world. You'll make a ton of friends, maybe even a girlfriend. People who you can rely on when things get hard... But I want you to know that this isn't a goodbye..." She kisses his forehead then continues "...This is a see-you-later"
She then extended her arms, handing Abel to William. William closely held Abel then said
"That's right. We'll meet in the future when you're strong enough and we'll have plenty of things to talk about"
William walks out the door with the Fleet Officer leaving behind Flora, the Doctor and the two nurses.
They then proceeded to make their way to the Evacuation Room. As they got there, William looked at a Scientist who was standing next to an Evacuation Pod. The Scientist had short black hair, who wore glasses that were in front of his dark blue eyes. He was wearing a grayish blue jumpsuit while holding a small black box. William then asked
"Do you have it?"
"I have it right here, Sir!" said Scientist
The Scientist then handed the small black box to William. When William received the box, he entered the Evacuation Pod leaving the Scientist and Fleet Officer behind.
He carefully placed Abel in a beautiful wooden basket. He then opened up the box that was holding an object that was a syringe with a clear liquid inside. He looked at Abel with a small smile with small tears dripping from his eyes. He then said
"Abel...This right here will help you get stronger later. I know you won't understand now since you're a baby, but when you reach the age of ten, you will know. It will be your life partner. Please rely on it to help you when you feel lost"
William then injects the syringe into Abel's thigh. Abel started to cry, screaming in pain. William then kissed Abel's thigh as if he was trying to relieve the pain. He glanced at Abel one last time before leaving the Evacuation Pod.
He turned around then closed the pod's door. William looked at the small screen that was next to the pod, he then set the course to a planet called Aitera.
William then hit 'Eject' then 'Go' on the pad. He saw as the Pod headed to this bluish green planet, tears fell from his eyes similar to a river. He started panting as if he was having a panic attack, then two seconds later his body acted like it never happened.
"...Thanks, Nano" said William
<"You don't have to thank me, Master William. I'm nothing more than an A.I."> said Nano
'I just hope Abel will be able to survive' William thought to himself
<"Master William's son, Abel, has the latest Nanotechnology. It has the ability to self-evolve and grow with Abel. There is a 65% chance of him being safe according to what we know about the planet Aitera. The only downside towards this model is that it will be able to have an ego as it evolves, however you insisted that you would not change it">
'Relax, I know what I did was illogical, but there will be a time where it will be worth it. Plus, he will have another friend to rely on that isn't emotionless' said in his head to Nano.
<"...There is a 50% chance that you will be wrong, Master William">
The Scientist and Fleet Officer looked at William hesitant to ask something. Then the Scientist stepped up towards William and asked
"...Sir William...If I may ask"
"Go Ahead" said William who was looking down at the ground then looked at the scientist waiting for his question.
"If I may ask, Why did you pick the planet Aitera to send to Sir Abel?" asked the Scientist
William stood silent for a brief moment then answered
"A very, very old friend of mine lives there. I don't know when or how Abel or him will meet but I'm sure he'll help him somehow"
"...How are you so sure, Sir? Aitera is a very big planet after all" asked the Scientist
William looked at the Scientist with an indifferent expression until a small smile appeared on his face and said
"I just know"
William then looked away then said inwardly to Nano
'Nano, execute order 17'
<"Yes, Master William">
Suddenly everyone who knew about Abel and his location felt a jolt of electricity running through their bodies. They were questioning what they were thinking about just a moment ago.
Twenty-Three minutes later, Williams Starship was surrounded by opposing Starships which looked like they belonged to the same organization.
William was already in the Bridge when he heard a notification alarm. William looked at the worker who was in charge of messages.
The worker looked at William and said
"Sir, We have a request of entry to our Starship"
"Sigh...Granted" William responded
Fifteen minutes later... Twenty armed men were being led by a person who was wearing a white jumpsuit similar to Williams. He looked around glancing around the whole room before focusing his eyes on Williams eyes then he said with a smile
"Hello, little Brother. I'm pretty sure by now your wife successfully gave birth. Congratulations. Where is he?"
William mouth turned into a small soft smile and said
"I don't know, Maximus"
Maximus was William's older brother and Flora's brother-in-law and Abel's now Uncle. He has reddish brown hair, crimson eyes that had a glint of indifference. He had an expression that if someone saw him who they didn't know, they wouldn't be able to tell what he was thinking.
However, Maximus wasn't really congratulating William. William knew what he was after. If anyone knew Maximus really, they would be able to tell what he was after too.
Maximus looked at William with a frown and said
"...You don't know...You don't even know where your own son is? What about the technology?"
William still had the same expression and said
"I still have no idea"
Immediately the surrounding air became cold. Everyone who was in the room had trouble breathing. All they felt was immense pressure. They dared not to look up at the two in front of them. Then all of sudden, they heard a cold voice
"William...First you tell me you don't know where your baby is. You then tell me you don't know where the technology is...I'll give you one last chance. If you tell me where your baby and technology is, I'll let you and everyone else go. WHERE ARE THEY?!" screamed Maximus as the whole room started to tremble from his words.
William still had the same expression, except this time his small smile turned into a wide smile and said
"I have no idea. I couldn't tell you even if I wanted to"
Maximus became angry and everything in the room started to tremble, cracks within the floor started to emerge. Everyone present felt as if the air was escaping out of their lungs, choking because of the immense pressure from Maximus.
Then Maximus frown deepen. He knew he was wasting time with his brother. He was sure that William wasn't going to tell him. Still facing towards William, Maximus said in a demanding voice
"I WANT EVERYONE TO STAY WHERE THEY ARE! COMMAND UNITS 2 AND 3 TO CHECK EVERY INCH OF THIS SHIP AND FIND HIS BABY AND THE TECHNOLOGY! REPORT TO ME AFTER DOING SO!"
The officers behind Maximus started to relay his orders to their fellow members. Maximus still looking at William and yelled
"I want my brother in handcuffs! Proceed to put him in the brig located within my ship! Do not delay this order!"
"""YES SIR"""
The officers immediately put William in handcuffs then continued to the Main Hangar Bay. They entered a transport ship heading back to Maximus's Starship.
Both Flora and William were in separate transport ships. Flora was receiving better treatment compared to William as she just finished childbirth. They both thought to themselves the same exact words
