Have you ever felt on top of the world?

Well if you haven't then you're surely missing a lot in life.

I'm in an impossibly great mood today and I think everyone else in the company took notice of this. I mean for once I didn't yell or threaten to fire anyone and I could see that everyone was really surprised by this.

I had a glass of wine in my hand as I twirl my office chair in circle, sipping and humming a merry tone to myself. No one could put me in a bad mood today, absolutely no one!

"Miss Davison!" I ignored Jane, my secretary as she walked into my office unannouce as she usually does. It annoyed the fuck out of me anytime she does that but I've grown used to it. After all she's the only person I could tolerate in this damn company. "Its time for your meeting with Mr Davison"

My good mood increases ten fold and the smile on my face increased. This is the first time in years where I've ever smiled a real smile. There's a good reason for it so no biggie.

"Alright" I set the glass down elegantly and stood up, fixing my wrinkled pencil skirt. "Let's go"

I walked out of my office and Jane followed close behind me like she always does. As we walked by, people scrambled out of my way for fear of getting lashed at.

I wasn't fazed by their fright as I kept my straight face and kept walking in the direction my grandpa's office.

I wasn't surprise that everyone was afraid of me. If anything, I relished in the power I have over them. Due to my constant cruelty towards them, the employees have nicknamed me Miss psycho and no one wants to mess with me or get on my bad side. Now that my grandpa was retiring, the employees has fall under some kind of tension. Everyone knows that I'm a big bitch and I'm just the president's daughter. What would happen when the big ass bitch herself becomes the president?

Everyone was terrified.

As for me, I was beyond happy and satisfied. Finally, my hard work over the years paid off. Grandpa is going to hand over the company to me and I shall rule this palace with an iron hand.

If they all think I'm a psychopathic bitch, then let them wait until I've gotten my hands on this palace. I shall show everyone the true definition of hell.

The thought brought a smirk to my face and I was more than satisfied. The company was close to being mine and I couldn't wait.

We finally got to my grandfather's office and with a smile, I walked into his office without knocking, Jane remained outside.

My grandpa was seated at his leather seat in his suit. His grey hair was styled and his wrinkled face manage a smile at me. I would have return the smile if I didn't catch sight of Vanessa seated on one of the arm chairs beside my grandpa.

"What the hell is this bitch doing here?!" I snap already feeling annoyed at the sight of her.

"Calm down my child and have a seat" my grandpa said gently and I obeyed glaring at my older sister in annoyance to which she just rolled her eyes.

"What's this about grandpa, I thought you wanted to talk to me!"

"We are a family Scarlet. Your sister have to be here for what I have to say"

I ignored my grandpa and glared at her again. I hated her with all my heart and soul. Just seeing her face made my blood boil. After our parent died, she had been horrible to me. I never got a decent high school life because of this bitch right here.

"Fine" I waved my hand in dismissal crossing my legs and just waiting for my grandpa to break the already obvious news that I knew would make Vanessa's blood boil. She's always wanted the company but has not been hard working as I was.

"So" grandpa began "I wanted to talk to you both about something important"

I smiled sweetly at Vanessa to which she just roll her eyes again, crossing her hands in the process.

"I have decided to retire"

A wide victorious smile cross my lips and this time, Vanessa glared at me. Neither of us was surprise but I decided to fake it "oh my God grandpa, really. You're okay, aren't you?" I knew I exaggerated a bit but I didn't care.

"Yes my dear nothing is wrong with me. I'm just getting too old and I think its time I handed the company to one of your care"

My smile immediately vanish to be replace with a confused frown. Even Vanessa seem surprised by his words.

"What do you mean by one of us grandpa? I thought the company would be automatically handed to me"

"That was the plan dear but not anymore"

"What do you mean by not anymore!" I screamed not caring that I was yelling at my grandpa "I've done everything for this company and its only right that I have it. You said I would make a good president then why are you changing your fucking mind"

"Lower your voice Vanessa, you're talking to grandpa" Vanessa hissed at me.

"You shut up!" I snap at her. That is why I hated her so much. After all the bad shit she did to me, she still had the guts to act like the good girl. Fucking bitch!

"Calm down Scarlet, I wasn't finished" my grandpa said in a calm voice and I listened and stop to listen to him, but what he said had already ruined my mood. He realized that I was now calm and continued "Scarlet I know how hard you've worked for this company and I am not saying I can't give you the company, but you've dedicated your life to this company and you haven't done anything except work. I don't want that for you"

"That's my choice grandpa I don't see why you should care!" I said rudely and he sighed.

"Scarlet of course I care. I'm your grandfather. You're twenty six years old Scar and you're still single"

That's because I hate people. I actually have never met any one who was good enough for me and im not sure I ever will.

"That's why I've decided Scarlet. Introduce your boyfriend to me in the next three months or else I'm handing over the company to Vanessa."

I stared at my grandpa stupefied.
