The Winter Fairy

Uriel, Elena, Elevina and Joyce finally enter the realm of the Unicorns called Unieldion. A beautiful, bright, colorful and quite serien view.
The atmosphere is indeed pleasant with clear pinkish clouds, different colours of trees, sparkling flowing streams and mesmerizing melodic songs.
Nothing could prove dangerous or harmful in this realm. They flew continuously till they got to a bridge leading to a waterfall.
In the waterfall magical pearls and diamond sea shells were seen glowing out with colorful light like rainbows.
"Wow this is quite a magnificent realm I have ever been to." Elevina said delightfully, glancing everywhere in her direction.
"Yes indeed it is but let's not be fooled by this harmless kingdom. It may prove even deadlier than the other realms." Uriel said to everyone as he picked up a pebble and threw it on the bridge. Light from no way caught the pebble on fire till it burnt down into ashe's.
"Just like that." Uriel pointed to the pebble he had thrown on the bridge.
"How are we supposed to cross the bridge?" Jocey asked, directing her gaze at her.
"Since the bridge can detect any kind of movements, how about we throw pebbles on the bridge while we fly across? Instead of the beam to hit it would hit the pebbles instead." Uriel said, asking everyone to get some pebbles.
"That's a great idea. Well everyone let's go." Elena said, flying through the bridge.
She threw a pebble as she flew and kept throwing the pebbles on the bridge making sure the beams hit the pebbles instead of her.
Soon after she got to the end of the bridge. Uriel too crossed the bridge without getting hurt, also Jocey and Elvenia too crossed the bridge successfully.
"I guess your plan did work, Uriel. Great thinking." Elena said, giving him a smile.
"No problem. Like I said I'll do anything to protect you at all times. Now let's continue our journey." Uriel said as everyone turned around to continue from where they stopped.
They kept flying and flying continuously till they saw four unicorns in a garden eating colourful flowers. They looked so pretty with their coloured mane and ponytails.
Elevina gets so excited with the unicorns that she decided to wander closer to where they were but she got stopped by Elena.
"Oh come on, they look so beautiful and adorable. Can't you see?" Elevina said, pointing at the unicorns.
"Yes but remember looks may seem deceiving. That's why we must be careful." Elena said in a calm soft tone.
After some minutes later the unicorns started dying off one by one in sequence. What was happening I just couldn't understand but it seemed like a nightmare rather than an adorable event.
"What is happening to the unicorns?!" Elevina yells watching the unicorns die one after the other.
"I really don't know. I guess we're about to find out." Elena said bring out the blade the dragon gave her.
They approach the garden carefully and search everywhere to see if it was something or someone killing them.
A terrifying noise was heard from a distance from where they were. The noise kept coming closer and closer towards their direction.
"W…what is that?" Jocey asked as fear went down her spine.
"I really don't know." Uriel said, scanning around to see if he would see something.
"I'll use a cloaking spell to make us invisible so we don't get detected okay?" Elena said enchanting the magic words. Everyone turned invisible as they waited to know what was approaching.
The noise Suddenly stopped for some time and the ground began to shake intensely. To their surprise they see a garden gnome with a club filled with spikes.
"Don't…make…a…sound." Elena whispers to everyone quitely.
They watched as it feasted on the dead unicorns. The sight alone made everyone puke trying not to make a sound.
After some minutes the garden gnome leaves to another destination for more unicorns to devourer.
"Not adorable now, Elevina?" Elena said sarcastically, glancing at her friend.
"Not funny. How was I supposed to know it will turn out this way?" Elvenia said angrily, flipping across both of her arms.
"Come on…I was just teasing you." Elena said, trying to give Elevina a hug.
"Hump! Don't hug me, I'm still mad at you." Elevina said, flying off to where Jocey was.
Soon after…
"Help me…help me…Elena. They are coming for everyone! Hurry please!" The unknown voice said consistently.
Elena begins to follow the strange noise going further away from everyone. She kept flying, flying and flying till she couldn't hear the Voice again.
Finally back to her senses she noticed she had been trapped in a cage and what was about to eat her up was the same giant garden gnome she saw earlier.
"Do you know where Elena went?" Uriel asked, realizing Elena isn't with them anymore.
"She was here with her some minutes ago. Where would she have gone too?" Jocey asked searching everywhere for Elena.
"Elevina what do you think?" Uriel asked, turning around to see Elevina holding her matching gemstone.
"Shhh! I think I know where she went. Quickly this way!" Elevina shouts flying off to a lonely dark path.
"Are you sure this is where she went to? It's really creepy." Jocey said, looking around.
"Yes, I'm sure. Trust me. Just a bit more we should get to her." Elevina said as her gemstone glowed with light.
Soon after Uriel, Jocey and Elvenia see the same glow of light emitting from Elevina's gemstone. They see a familiar face which calls out to them.
"Elvenia! Over here!" Elena yells trying to get their attention.
"Were coming, Elena , hold on!" Uriel said from afar, flying as quickly as he could but before he could reach for Elena he got caught by the giant garden gnome.
"Hey! Put me down!" Uriel yells burning his hands making him release Uriel from his grip.
"I got this. Hang on." Uriel said burning up the lock Elena kept it. After the third attempt he finally break's open the lock rescuing Elena from the garden gnome.
"Uriel! Elena! Goodness, you're all okay." Elevina said, hugging them both.
"Sorry to ruin this family reunion but we might want to leave now. The giant is coming for us." Jocey said, warning them about the garden gnome.
They immediately flew far up to the skys where the garden gnome couldn't reach them. After some minutes they seem safe now. As they lessened their pace.
They see another portal dimension appearing from a distance away from them. Everyone got ready, exhausted and thirsty. Jocey luckily sees a fountain and stops to take a drink.
"Remember everyone don't eat or drink anything here no matter how tempting it may be." Uriel said to everyone but noticed Jocey wasn't with them.
"Where did Jocey go? No Jocey! Don't drink the water!" Uriel shouts flying to stop Jocey from drinking the water but it was too late. She drank the water before he could stop her.
"Are you okay? I said no fruits or water should be taken." Uriel asked as he held Jocey 's.
"Relax okay? See am f…fine! What is happening?! Uriel! Help me?!!!" Jocey said as she began to melt, turning into a puddle of goo.
Elena noticed what had happened and she didn't know how to react. She sees the portal closing up as she calls out Uriel.
"Uriel! Uriel! We have to go! No! The portal is about to close!" Elena yells as Uriel turns to Elena's call.
"Ok, I'm coming! May your soul rest in peace Jocey. We will never forget you and the sacrifices you made." Uriel said, flying back to the rest.
Luckily they enter through the portal just in time before it closes. They enter into another realm known as Warredand, the land of the spirit.
