Chapter 43 - Chapter 43

The Winter Fairy

***

Elevina's sacrifices became a huge terro for Elena. She had a sleepless night and couldn't just picture herself without Elevina by her side but in reality Elevina wasn't with her again.

With guilt lingering around her felt like she couldn't escape from the awful decision she made. What taunted her more was the constant reminder of their matching gemstones.

Just like how friendships are meant to last for a lifetime can also witter just in matters of seconds. Her heart was fully heavy and soaked in guilt. She wished she could turn back the hands of time but was left impossible.

At least she sees Elevina as a hero who sacrificed herself for the greater good of Winterfell. Now it's all up to her to save Winterfell from the claws of Leuvis for good.

Elena begins her full training with Uriel. She now possessed demon blood, the dragon blade and the angel's blade all together. With great power comes great responsibilities.

"Now Elena I know you're still hurting from your loss with Elevina but you have to move on and be strong. Am sure if Elevina was here she would tell you the same thing as she always did." Uriel said, handing her the angel's blade and the dragon blade.

"Watch it! What are you doing?" Elena asked Uriel trying to catch the blades Uriel tossed at her.

"Training. If you're going to defeat Leuvis you need to enhance your skill and magic. Are you ready Elena?" Uriel asked, flashing a beam of light at Elena as she quickly reflexed it back using a force field.

"Watch it okay! My eyes are very sensitive." Elena yells disappearing off her shield.

"Very impressive Elena. I guess you're already ready. Now let's begin." Uriel said, raising up some rocks which he fired at Elena.

"pretty impressive but I am faster." Elena said doggeing all the rocks aimed at her.

"Not bad. Let's see how well you can handle the heat." Uriel said, forming a lightning bolt heading straight for Elena.

"I don't think so." Elena said as she uses the angel's blade to absorb the lighting.

"Nice Elena. You know what to do." Uriel said flying still in his position.

"Are you sure about this? Alright if you insist." Elena said aiming the angel's blade with uriel's lighting bolt straight at him but uriel is able to absorb the shock without getting hurt.

"Is that all you got Elena?" Uriel asked, panting underneath his breath.

"Am just getting started." Elena said, flying up to Uriel's position as she attacked him with both of the two blades.

Uriel gets his golden long staff and uses it as a sword and starts fighting Elena. Both Uriel and Elena's blade clash with a metallic rhythm.

Elena launches both of her blades toward Uriel's chest but Uriel dodges just in time. Uriel attempts to make a slash on Elena but Elena was quick to fly, missing Uriel's staff.

"I see Elena, you're quite strong. Do you want to give up yet?" Uriel said painting much more heavily.

"Why would I want to? Am just getting warmed up." Elena said, launching the angel's blade at Uriel which dug deep into his arms. She then tries to attack him with the dragon's blade but Uriel is able to block it as he takes the dragon's blade off Elena's hand.

"Now…we're even." Uriel said with his bleeding arm.

"Let's see about that shall we?" Elena said using the angel's blade at Uriel6 other arm but he stops her before she could attack further.

"Nice one but you're too slow thai time around." Uriel said, glancing at Elena's eyes.

"Not really. I wasn't aiming for an arm but this.`` Suctum votex blazetiria!" Elena enchants as a ball of wild fire and ice consumes Uriel making him fall down to the ground.

"Huff! Huff! Demon blood. Very good…Elena. I think you're ready." Uriel said, painting in pain trying to get up.

"Now who's the weak one? Sorry for not going easy on you. Here let me heal you up; revestir helium fux tatum!" Elena enchants healing up Uriel's wound.

"Thank you. I feel much better. I guess you know what to do now?" Uriel said, glancing at Elena.

"Yes I do. I'll be venturing into Warredand, The land of the spirit. Hopefully I'll get to talk to Elevina." Elena said, bringing out a magic pearl.

"What are you going to use that for?" Uriel said curiously as he saw Elena with a pearl.

"To Open a portal back to Warredand, The land of the spirit. I'll be back soon and don't worry about me, I'll be fine. This time around I will destroy Leuvis." Elena said tossing the pearl hard to the ground as a whitish portal was made up which she went through to Warredand, land of the spirit.

At Warredand, Land of the spirit…

Elena enters the land of the spirit as she seems to communicate to Elevina but a familiar appears to her again and it turns out to be Lumina.

"Welcome back Elena? You're alone this time around? What happened?" Lumina asked, glancing down at her.

"Is that seriously a question? You made me lose my best friend!" Elena raises up her voice as she plans to attack Lumina with a fireball.

"Tisk, tisk , tisk. I guess you never learn from your mistakes." Lumina said as she fireball pases through her.

"What? How come?" Elena said as she watched her fireball go through Lumina.

"I'm a ghost, remember? No form of magic can hurt me. Rather it's you that's hurting. Why would you keep Such a dark secret from your best friend?" Lumina asked, walking towards Elena.

"I…I didn't mean to. I was just scared I would lose her." Elena said, sobbing a bit.

"Liar! Tell the truth Elena only then shall you be free from your guilt." Lumina said, walking around Elena in circles.

"I am telling the truth! You have to believe me please!" Elena said, falling down to her knees.

"You have come to talk to your best friend but yet you still kept secrets from her! What kind of friend are you?! Confess!" Lumina yells at Elena dragging her hair.

"Ok fine! Yes! I hid the truth from Elevina about a version that she was going to die and I also hid the truth from her by wiping her memory so she doesn't remember and I didn't tell her what I saw in the realm of the Spirit! Yes! I hide so many things from her! I am an awful person that deserves to die!" Elena said, shouting out loud as she wailed bitterly and her eyes soaked with tears.

"Why didn't you tell me all these when I was alive Elena? To an extent you had to wipe my memories?" A familiar faint voice was heard making Elena look up to see Elevina standing right there in front of her.

"E…Elevina? Am sorry I lied to you and kept such secrets from you. I was only trying to protect you and I couldn't bear the thought of losing you; "you could say that I am selfish, I always thought about myself and never for once had anyone on my mind." Elena said, getting up from her ground.

"Am really hurt and disappointed in you Elena. I thought we were best friends? I understand now. Am not mad at you. Let bygones be bygones. At least you told me the truth. Thank you." Elevina said, giving Elena a smile.

"Thank you. I wish you were still here though. I miss you so much." Elena says sniffling as she tries to give Elevina a hug but realises that she couldn't.

"Well isn't that lovely. Sorry to interrupt you guys' loven moments but we have to go now back to where we belong." Lumina said, facing Elevina.

"She's right Elena. I know you can do it! I strongly believe in you. Now go and save Winterfell from Queen Leuvis and enb her for good." Elevina said blowing a kiss to Elena and she and Lumina disappeared together.

At At Devdrands…

Elena teleports back from the realm of the spirit and sees Uriel and Asrar waiting for her.

"Well did you meet her?" Asrar asked, waiting for Elena to respond.

"Yes I did. Thank you so much." Elena said sniffling, wiping off her tears which tried to come out from her eyes.

"You're welcome. Now Elena, you must go to the last realm to find the fairy born of lilies. Already Queen Leuvis has created a demon black void destroying Winterfell turning it to a monster nightmare and her demon minions are fully armed with a high level of intensed black magic." Asrar said, opening up a purple portal.

"I'll always be here to protect you Elena. I'm coming with you and I'll fight till my last dying breath. Are you ready?" Uriel asked, gazing at Elena intensely.

"Ready as I could ever be." Elena said entering the portal with Uriel to the realm of the garden of rosewood.
