Kenia was waiting impatiently for her mistress to come back from her trip to the forbidden line. A sudden wind passed by her and Drusilla appeared looking straight up.
"Princess Drusilla, you didn't even pass the door. How come?" Kenia asked looking confused as she rushed to meet her mistress.
"Oh my goodness Kenia, it's a long story." Drusilla exhaled as she sat on her bed.
"And why do you have a wound on your ankle" Kenia observed her mistress's leg and perceived the sent that came out from the wound. " Let me apply some medications then you'll tell me what happened" Kenia applied some medications on Drusilla's wound.
"Okay let me start" Drusilla inhaled and exhaled. "I saw a vampire and I think he's a prince because he was putting on a kinda scary mask." She explained.
"Whoa! that's interesting, so how did you get that injury?" Kenia then pointed to her mistress wound.
"I'll come to that Kenia." She yawned. "The Vampire guy was so elegant but he was not in a human clothing, I'll rather say he was in a gothic appearance. So I kicked a stone while trying to figure out how his face would look like." Drusilla stretched her body out of tiredness.
"So the vampire guy is that charming" Kenia asked in disbelief. How dare she not to believe in her mistress's word.
"Yes he is. I was feeling a serious pain and he licked my blood so the pain stopped. He was the one that took me home. That's how we both disappeared out of thine air. Now in my room" Drusilla explained further trying to recall what happened.
"So, he's Invincible?" Kenia asked in awe. She has read alot of vampire stories but she never knew that they were invincible creatures.
"Certainly he's Invincible" She said almost in a whisper.
"You know the reason why he licked your blood right?" Kenia ask anxiously.
Although Kenia was just a maid she has a great impact in Drusilla's life. She is knowledgeable and that's what makes her different from other maids in the palace.
"According to him, his tongue is medicinal but according to the book I read, vampires feed on humans blood" Drusilla answered Kenia's question curious about that particular incident.
"That's correct. You didn't see his face?" Kenia continued with her interrogations.
"Like I said he was behind a mask" Drusilla gulped as she heard some noise coming from the door it was her Queen mother knocking; Queen Lenora.
Kenia opened the door for the queen and she entered inside the room facing Drusilla with an angry look on her face.
Then she dismissed Kenia.
"Kenia told me you won't like to be disturbed that's why you locked yourself in your room" the queen said repeating the lie or excuse that Kenia gave to her while Drusilla was away.
"Yeah I said that" Drusilla retorted backing up the excuse.
Queen Lenora was not satisfied and doubted Drusilla then she perceived a familiar aroma and sniffed it then the result landed to Drusilla's wound.
"What happened to your ankle and why does it have a familiar scent of that of the forbidden line?" Queen Lenora yelled making Drusilla to fume in anger.
"You ask too many questions. I fell from the bathroom" She arrogantly lied.
"Drusilla don't you recognize that you are talking to your Queen Mother?" The queen grinned her teeth in anger
"Hold the phone Queen Lenora, I was adopted and I was not shown any single love or affection but you actually faked yours". Drusilla spoke with tears gathering in her eyes but she withdrawed.
The Queen felt a sharp pain through Drusilla's word but she tried her possible best to ignore and retorted back with a question.
"Did you go to the forbidden line? If 'yes' how could you" She then turned and beaconed on Kenia. "Kenia!!" She yelled.
"What is all this for? I did not go there period" She groaned in anger.
"You called for me Queen Lenora" Kenia said after rushing inside the room.
"Yes I did. Give me an account about Drusilla's whereabouts" Queen Lenora ordered
"Princess Drusilla was in her room all day that's all I could recall". Kenia supported Drusilla.
"Leave my presence". She yelled at Kenia who immediately left and turned to Drusilla. "Miss Drusilla Talon if I find out that you went to that so called place that I'm suspecting you went to ... you'll know you're not stubborn compared to me" Queen Lenora threatened but Drusilla doesn't seem to be infected by the threat.
"Blah blah blah" She mimicks the queen. "I know you've been pretending to love me from the start. Just because I was adopted into the Luthur royal family."
"That's your dice to play" The queen left the room as she furiously banged the door.
" This Luthur's are going to pay for every pain that they've caused me" Drusilla tightened her fist and Kenia came inside the room to console her from the pain she was going through.
Indeed the orphanage home that she came from was much more peaceful than thia Luthur's royal palace. Drusilla then hissed in frustration. She could not endure the torture but instead she'll do the opposite. She'll be the one to torture them instead. Kenia always got her back and Drusilla was at ease with it.
' Two heads is surely better than one ' She let out an evil smile.
