Zelda looked at Tala in shock and the woman had to remind herself not to kill Tala for the sins that she was engaging herself in having fun with and in order not to do that Zelda didn't get a word out and just stormed to the bathroom ignoring Tala.
Some minutes later the woman emerged from the bathroom all dressed up and ready for the day. She walked right passed Tala as if she was invisible and she walked straight to the kitchen to make herself something to eat.
"Awwww is my little chipmunk upset?" Tala cooed while wiggling her eyebrows but Zelda who was clearly not in the mood nor interested in her games anymore ignored her and finished what she was doing and that was making breakfast.
She walked round to her bed and ate her food in silence, when she was done she washed her plate and immediately dashed out of the room.
Tala on the other hand who was speechless on how Zelda reacted to the whole matter chased after the young woman but she wasn't having it and ignored her all through the walk to the main halls in the academy.
"Oh come on Z, can't you take a joke? and besides it's not like you smell bad or anything I was just teasing you." The woman tried to explain herself and set a compromise but of course Zelda wasn't having it.
I don't take jokes like that and when teasing me you have to thread lightly because I am really sensitive to them perks of not having parents or being around people who have the time to tease me as much.
Next time do not tease me like that or we'd have a problem."
The woman admonished her room mate and also made it known to her to reduce her level of teasing or they might just have a very big problem.
Zelda didn't exactly know what it felt like to ve teased perks of not having parents to do that for her or even living in a teasing environment while growing up and the people who made it a routine to tease her were Arwen and Kaithleen and that was that no one else.
She wasn't necessarily angry knowing a bit on what teasing felt like and looked like but hey why relive someone when you can easily make them sweat for their mistakes and it'd be worth it in the end?
There's more fun in making things hard for them and messing them up for playing around in the first place.
They walked to the main halls in the academy before turning their heels to their assigned classes.
It was still early so the students were just arranging and getting themselves ready for the day hence the noisy hallway but when Zelda looked at her watch she saw that they had just a few minutes left to leave the hallway and save it from all noise they came along with and the they in this context happened to be the noise causing and noise making students.
Daphne walked into the tall building in front of her and strode right to the elevator with a neutral gaze on her face. One would think that now happened to be a good time to approach her but the case was far from it actually because the woman was lost in her own world of thoughts that anything said to her at this time would have no meaning seeing as she would barely be able to give them the right answer till she finally gets out of her own head and comes back to the present.
Daphne was pulled out forcefully from her thinking state by the 'ding' sound that went of quickly when the elevator came to a halt. Daphne stood straight from her previous position then she walked out of the elevator with her hands dipped in her pants pockets and walked straight to her office ignoring the greetings of her assistant, she was too deep in thoughts to care or to even hear the greeting in the first place.
She sat on her desk in her office and did some work here and there effectively finishing some work but she knew that she still had to effectively work on the stacks of papers neatly placed on her desk in an arithmetic order. Daphne smiled in satisfaction everytime she took another paper from the rows of papers arranged and she applauded her assistant in her head for doing such a good job.
The woman did such a good job for a mere human, no offense to humans though.
Daphne finished the bulk of paperwork stacked on her desk in no time and then decided to go out and do what she had in mind for a while.
"Andricia I'm done with the bulk of paperwork you left so do well to take them to where they are needed and I am stepping out for probably the rest of the day so I'd see you tomorrow. Great job by the way, keep it up and might just get a reward soon." The woman dismissed and walked out of the line of sight of her employee.
