The Queen knew it was serious because she could detect the urgency in Daphne's voice and it was quite apparent on her face that she needed to talk and of course the Queen didn't want her daughter waiting any longer as she had already spent a while waiting.
"Do you want to talk here or should we go to the office?" Edeline asked her daughter.
"I'd like to talk in the office because it's kind of a confidential matter I want to discuss with you and I do not feel comfortable and enough to disclose with anyone else but just you right now."
Daphne stood up from her chair pushing it backwards in the process as she walked up to Edeline, that's after leaving a secret meaning behind her words that she didn't want her mother saying anything to her father for now and also didn't want Amidala asking questions that weren't needed or necessary and luckily they got the message.
"We will be back."
Edeline told her husband as she left the dining room with her daughter.
They walked to the office and Daphne shut the door behind her as she walked up to her mother's desk that sat in the middle of the room with dark chairs spread out in the room matching the color of the desk.
"What is it you want to talk about?" The Queen sat and crossed her long legs elegantly as she folded her arms in front of her.
"Is it possible to have two mates and find them almost at the same time after waiting a hundred years plus for them?"
Daphne breathed as she rushed out leaving her mother completely stunned.
'Wow that's rare and it's been a long while since I heard of something like that happening.' The Queen thought as she sat there in deep thought.
"It is indeed possible but it is extremely rare and I have only heard of something like that happening twice in my entire life but yes it is possible and it has happened but I have a feeling that the question runs deeper than it seems."
Edeline probed as she could tell that something was up with her daughter and she already had a hunch on what the problem could be.
"The question does indeed run deeper than it looks and I will tell you everything about it but I do not want you asking questions and I want only you to know about this for now.
You also have to let me handle things on my own this time and if I need help I will tell you okay?"
Daphne made her stand clear to her mum before she disclosed any information to her because she knew how crazy the woman could get when it came to the whole mate thing.
"Yes understood and I would help wherever I can or should." The Queen agreed almost immediately.
"I apparently have two mates but I am yet to confirm it and I found them both yesterday. One is a newbie at Dala's school and my second mate is a bit older.
I can't tell her age because I forgot to ask last night but I can tell that she's definitely a bit older than my other mate because my mate being Dala's school already discloses that she is a younger and even if she isn't very young.
The fact that she got into Amidala's school tells me that she's younger and I plan on meeting her later after dropping Amidala off at school." Daphne broke it down but it was short seeing that she hadn't properly talked to either of them yet so the woman was quite cautious of what she said around her.
Edeline on the other hand pinched the bridge of her nose and blurted out the !last thing Daphne wanted to hear.
"So when do we meet her."
