"Look! Who come to meet me! Come on, man! It's been a long!" a guy was sitting on a throne-like chair. His face wasn't seen as there was a very small light on his head and the color of the light was red. He was wearing a jacket made of wool and there was a marker on his neck. It was also made of wool. His both hands were kept on the handle of the chair as if he was the king. In every finger of his both hands, he wore rings of fate. If someone looks at his face carefully, he can see that he was wearing eyeliner on his eyes. He has designed a beard on his cheek and it gives him a very cool look. His hair was combing finely and they were looking like a crown on his head. There were no sleeves on his jacket so his strong and thick muscles were seen. He could be called as the king of darkness. There were three or four people behind his chair. They were all standing. More people were standing in two rows. There was a blank place middle of them. And this was the path where Dae Ju was standing though he was far from the king of darkness. Dae Ju can realize that each man has their weapon with them. And if someone does something wrong it will not take more than a minute to run the weapon over him.
"Hello!" Dae Ju bowed gently and said.
"Come here! I miss you a lot!" Johnnie said with his heavy voice. Dae Ju slowly walked to him though he has fear in his life. There was one more person behind him who was following him slowly.
"Who is it? Hey! Turn on the lights! I need to see them!" he shouted. Suddenly all the lights turned on and there was lighting all around. Everything can be seen clearly now. Dae Ju was searching for Seung Mang but he wasn't there.
"Soo Mi-sshi! What are you doing with him? Are you two dating again?" he asked and looked at Dae Ju with suspicious eyes. Seeing his this look Dae Ju got afraid and stopped in middle.
"No! We aren't dating anymore!" he replied immediately.
"Then why she is here? You haven't come to me for a long time!" he was shouting.
"Ah! We are just friends! And as I was missing you, I came to you but suddenly I met him." Soo Mi smiled being afraid and said.
"Yes! Exactly! It was a coincidence!" Dae Ju also smiled. He started sweating.
"Hey! Bring some chairs! Don't you see we got guests! How can you all forget your manners!" he looked around and shouted.
The men started running here and there and it was a messy situation. Within a minute, they put two chairs in front of him and went back to their places.
"Sit down. (Look at Dae Ju). You(Looking at Soo Mi), sit down too!"
"Yes," Dae Ju bowed again and then took a seat. His whole body was trembling out of fear. He was sweating a lot. Noticing this, Johnnie said,
"Are you feeling hot? I am too!" he was gentle with him.
"Hey!" he shouted again.
"Turn on the AC! Can't you see our guest is feeling hot!" he couldn't finish his words and before that, a cold wind started coming into the room. Dae Ju felt cold but as he was nervous he was not that cold.
"Tell me," he asked to Dae Ju. Dae Ju got confused because he didn't know what he should tell him.
"Yes?" Dae Ju asked.
"Tell me what have you been! Where you were hiding?" suddenly he started laughing. Seeing him, many of his men started laughing with him. Dae Ju understands that he can't handle this situation. He might end up by making him angry.
"I am good!" suddenly Dae Ju's voice cracked and it seems very funny. Hearing this, he increased his laughing sound. And all of the men also start laughing at him.
"Stop it!" he stopped laughing and shouted. All the men stopped laughing and made a guilty face as if they did any sin by laughing.
"Why you are so afraid? I won't harm you since you took your friend with you!" he smiled. And this time his smile was creepy.
"I am not afraid.....I am just...." The guy who can control anyone by his words suddenly couldn't talk as his voice wanted to stay inside.
"Okay, okay. We don't have much time. I have to go for haunting someone." he said as if it was a very normal activity for him.
"Yes?" Dae Ju got afraid and asked. His voice was still cracked so he coughed to fix it.
"Not your business. I heard you had an accident, right?" saying this he looked at one guy who was standing beside them and ordered him something with his eye. The man got his order and went to oblige it.
"Yes, you are right." Dae Ju was very gentle with him.
"I also heard that you have been changed after that. And now I am seeing it for real. You have really changed! And I appreciate it!" he clapped. All of his men also start clapping as if they were his puppet and they will do whatever he will do. He stopped and with him, the loud clapping sound also stopped. Suddenly the guy who went outside came again and stood near Soo Mi. He whispered something in her ear and Soo Mi glared at him as if she will kill him.
"No! Tell him in front of me! I won't go anywhere!" she said loudly. Dae Ju understands he wants him alone so he looked at her but stays silent.
"Soo Mi-sshi! Do what he said to you! Or else...." Johnnie shouted.
"Or else what?" Soo Mi also shouted.
"Or else I will....." he was very angry with her.
"Say it! Why you stopped! That's why I wanted to go foreign but you blocked all the way for me! I never wanted a brother like you! I am ashamed of you!" she cried out.
"What did you just say? Hey! Go outside! I will talk with you later." he said but not loud like before.
"No! I won't let you hurt my friend! If I have to go out then he will have to go with me!" she was insisted like a baby.
"I won't hurt him. Trust me!" he calmed down. Seems like he has a perfect plan for something. Dae Ju looked at Soo Mi with his astonished eyes but he said to her slowly,
"Go! I will be fine!"
"Are you sure?" Soo Mi asked.
"Trust me!" he replied. Soo Mi stood up and prepare for leave. But before that, she warned her brother that if he touches his one hair, she will not spare him. Her brother was totally unbothered by her warning and told her he will not do anything he just needs to talk something secretary with him.
After she left from there, Johnnie sat down comfortably. He put his one leg on another and leaned on his chair. He put his hand on his head as if he was the Doctor Strange and his visitor was Thor.
"Wanna drink?" he offered.
"I stopped drinking. Thanks!" Dae Ju's gentle answer. Okay, let's go to serious business.
"The night you had the accident, you were driving a taxi, right?" he asked being sure.
"Yes, you are right." Dae Ju answered as if he was being interrogated.
"Who was the passenger on your taxi?" he asked.
"Me....I mean....The world's famous handsome man...Kim Dae Ju. Why?" this time also the truth has been slipped but he controls the situation.
"I didn't want to know that much! But, why you didn't remember about your promise?" he asked and put his hand down from his head.
"Which promise?" Dae Ju was surprised. There were no memories of any promises with him.
"You promised that you will inform us if you see the guy. Didn't you?" he asked and give that creepy smile. Dae Ju was confused because he couldn't remember anything about it.
"Really?" he asked being surprised. Oh! Then you forgot! Don't you know I don't like when someone breaks their promise? And when I don't like anything or anyone what I do with them?" he asked and looked at the man who was standing on his left side. The man didn't answer with his mouth. He rather showed it with his hand. But Dae Ju could understand what he means.
"I know, you destroyed it! Haha!" Dae Ju became so scared that he forgot what he should do.
"Yes, I destroy it!" with that creepy smile he said. But, you forget about it. You can forget as it's been a long. So, I should give you a chance(looking at Dae Ju). Should I?" Looking at another man he asked.
"No! Destroy him! Crush him!" there were screaming of nearly a hundred men who wanted to see Dae Ju's death.
"No! I wanted to give him a chance as he is my favorite," he said and after hearing him, all the screaming went away.
"Oh! Thank you! You are too kind!" Dae Ju smiled. He was still sweating though it was cold enough.
"Yes, I know I am!" he moved as if he gets tired by sitting and he needs some message on his body.
"Listen to me carefully," he came close to Dae Ju. Dae Ju wanted to move back but there was no place to move because he was sitting on the chair. He gulped and listen to him carefully.
"Yes, I am listening," he said. Once more, his voice cracked but this time nobody laughed.
"There is a race. And I know, you are fond of racing. I want to give you a chance to serve me again. You have to win the race. I bet for 100 crores won with my opponent party. So, don't make me disappointed. The race is on 9th February. You have 8 days for practice. You have to win no matter what. If you lose in the race, you know what I would do with you, right?" he said as if it was nothing.
"Can I say no to you?" he asked.
"No! Do you want to lose your favorite wife with you?" he glared at him. He was looking dangerous.
"But, I have no driving license. My license has been canceled." Dae Ju fixed his throat again and said. He wasn't moving since he sat down on the chair. He was like a robot who was just answering to its owner.
"We will make one for you. It's not a big problem. But, if you say no I have to finish you and your dear wife. And if you lose the race I will do the same." he give the creepy smile once again.
"But, what will I gain by that?" Dae Ju gains some confidence and asked.
"Hahaha! Look what he is saying!" he laughed and when he pointed at Dae Ju everyone except for Dae Ju starts laughing.
"I will give you the truth." he became serious and said.
"Truth?" Dae Ju is confused.
"You will get it but I won't give you another hint for now. And listen," he stopped. Dae Ju felt like his spirit went outside from the body and he was a dead body.
"Tell your chairman that I accept his proposal. You may leave now." he showed with his hand to Dae Ju for leave the place.
After he returned from the place he felt like he gained his soul back. He sighed and started walking. Soo Mi came to him by running and grab his shoulder. He got startled.
"Ah! You startled me!" he said and moved aside.
"What did he say?" Soo Mi became curious and asked.
"I am doomed! I am really doomed! I am really really doomed!" he was repeating one thing like he doesn't have anything else to say.
"Why?" she surprised.
"I can't race anymore! I forgot how to drive a car! How can I win a big race?" he sighed again.
"Ah! You can do it! I know you better than you. So, I can tell you that you will win. I trust you!" she was encouraging him.
"But I don't trust on me!" he smiled weirdly and start walking again.
