Dae Ju was walking on the street. Soo Mi was behind him. Suddenly his phone vibrated and he picked up the call.
"Hello!" he said with his disappointed voice.
"Are you okay? We are ready. Do we have to come?" Mr. Park asked aggressively.
"No! I am okay for now." Dae Ju replied and sighed.
"What happened? Is everything alright?" he asked from another side.
"Yes, everything is alright," he replied. Dae Ju hung up the call and turned back by remembering that Soo Mi was there.
"You should go home. Thanks for supporting me," he advises her.
"No! I won't go home tonight. I am feeling bored." she replied.
"What? Then where will you go?" Dae Ju smiled and asked.
"Jheong Woo's house. I will stay there tonight." a simple reply from Soo Mi.
"What? Jh.... Jheong Woo!" Dae Ju got shocked.
"Yes. Why?" looking at Dae Ju she asked as if she didn't tell something wrong.
"Don't tell me that you are in relationships with Jheong Woo!" he was hesitating but he said it.
"Yes, I kinda like him and he also likes me. So...Do you have any problem with it?" she asked by thinking Dae Ju was jealous. But Dae Ju was not jealous. He was feeling sorry and worried for Jheong Woo. He is a very simple guy and he can't manage her. That's why he felt bad for his friend.
"So, w-why y-you w-will g-g-go to-o-o his p-place now?" he knows he shouldn't ask it but it slipped from his mouth and he couldn't control his curiosity.
"I told you I am feeling bored. I need something to enjoy." she was telling him simply. But Dae Ju was the one who didn't receive the answers simply.
"Yes?" he makes a very worried face and asked.
"Hmm." she continued walking to the way where Jheong Woo's house is.
"No! Ah! I am doomed! Didn't you find anyone else in this world!" Dae Ju wanted to shout but no sounds came from his throat.
"Can you walk with me till we reach his home?" Soo Mi asked.
"What? Okay, I can! I have to!" he was surprised but he was smiling though he wasn't happy at all.
Soo Mi was walking frontwards and Dae Ju was walking behind her. There was no one except them on the street. The street was not much dark due to the road lights. Dae Ju was feeling nervous. There was just one thing about which Dae Ju was thinking. What if Johnnie caught them dating? Will he spare Jheong Woo? If he doesn't like him, he might not hesitate to kill him.
"Ah! This is driving me crazy!" he said.
"What?" Soo Mi looked back and asked. She was looking gorgeous. Her smile was pretty. They will look perfect with each other. And Jheong Woo was also happy when he was talking with her. They can be a perfect couple if they want. But, he was afraid after seeing her brother face to face. He can kill one with just one punch. How could Jheong Woo will tackle her? She seems very happy. Dae Ju was just following her while thinking about their future though he should think about his future.
He can drive car but he was not that skilled to take part in a race. And if he takes part, he can't win the race. He may end up by causing a big accident. He still misunderstood with left and right while driving. And he is the slowest driver amongst the team. That's why everyone calls him grandpa in his group. He never minds when they call him like that. But this time, he thought he should have learned fast driving. He doesn't want to race but he has no choice. If he refused him that time, he would have been killed and he doesn't want to lose his life that early. But if he lost in the race, they will kill him for sure. Only his life isn't at risk, he put Lina's life at risk too. What if they kill him? He has a chance to go to his original body. But if they harm Lina, he can't bear it. And she doesn't have another chance to come back.
"Where are you going?" Dae Ju was walking without looking around and Soo Mi called him noticing that.
"Oh?" Dae Ju couldn't understand and asked.
"His house is in this way and you are going that way." Soo Mi makes him understand.
"Oh! Yes, I was taking the wrong path." Dae Ju got embarrassed and said.
"But, I think you can go alone from here. It's not far. I should leave now." he said again.
"Okay, you can go now." saying this she turned around and start walking. Dae Ju took the path of his house and sighed. He couldn't understand anything that he should do.
When he came home, it was 3 am. He unlocked the door and went inside. There were no lights inside the house so he turned on the light as he was afraid of darkness. He wanted to see Lina but she was not there. As Dae Ju said, she was sleeping upstairs. He was feeling thirsty so he went to the kitchen and drink some water from the fridge. He went to upstairs slowly and saw Lina. She was sleeping peacefully. She was in one corner of the bed and there was some blank place for another person.
After changing his dress, he came to her. He turned on the table lamp as he couldn't see her face. She was looking like the snow-white sleeping after having a bite of the poisonous apple. She maintains a good manner while sleeping too. Her both hands were kept on her belly. Dae Ju sat down beside her. He wanted to touch her hand but he didn't want to disturb her. So, he turned off the light and the place became dark again. Though he felt afraid when it's dark, he didn't feel anything when she was beside him. She was the cause of his braveness. And he can conquer the world for her. And as for the race, he can win for her sake. He lied down beside her. He was not quite matured when he went to sleep but this time he felt nervous so he was lying on the bed looking up. He started sweating though it was cold. He turned back so that he can't see Lina.
He was trying to get some sleep but he couldn't as his heart wants something else. He wanted to look at her but he couldn't turn around to look at her. Suddenly he remembered about the race.
"Didn't he say it's on 9th February?" he asked himself.
"9th February is the date of Seo Jin's wedding. That means, I have to....." he surprised and sat down.
"No! No! It can't be! I barely got the invitation card and if I miss her wedding.....Ah!" he shouted. After shouting he remembered that there was someone who was in her deep sleep and he didn't want to wake her up. So he looked at her to check if she woke up or not. But she was sleeping being unbothered.
"Oh! What should I do now?" he asked to himself.
"No! It can't be!" he make his face as he will cry. He stayed sitting without moving. He felt annoyed with the chairman.
"It's all because of you! I will surely get my revenge on you! You should be prepared! I can be dangerous! Don't fall for my sweet smile!" he was saying as if he will destroy the world though he didn't know what he should do. He lied down again. He was angry but on who, he couldn't figure out. Within a few minutes, he falls asleep and went to his dreamland.
He was having a sweet dream. In his dream, he saw Lina again. She was cute, pretty, and gorgeous. She was wearing a white mini skirt and green colored tops. She was looking very sexy. Her hair was half tied but he couldn't understand how she tied it. She was smiling. Her sweet voice was ringing in his ear. Both of them were on a hill. Seems like they went hiking. They reached the top of the mountain and there was nobody else except for them. She was running here and there. Dae Ju was standing on one corner and feel the beauty of nature and the girl. She came to him and said,
"I am very happy. Thank you so much for taking me here!"
"Is that how you will thank me?" Dae Ju asked while smiling. Lina came more closer and kissed on his cheek. He closed his both eyes and went close to her but that time she said, "wake up!" Dae Ju was surprised. "What?"
"I said, wake up!" Lina said again.
Dae Ju opened his eyes and see Lina was really beside him. But she was in her regular dress and seems like she got ready for going to work.
"Ah! Finally, you woke up! Now, get up and wash your face! It's getting late!" saying this she went away. Dae Ju sat down and looked at his phone. He forgot to set an alarm that's why it didn't ring. He takes a look and it was 8.30 am.
"Oh my gosh! I am late!" he jumped on the floor and went to the washroom. He took his toothbrush and start brushing while changing his clothes.
After five minutes, he came downstairs while running. There were some snacks on the table. But Dae Ju ignored them and went to the door.
"Hey! Your breakfast!" Lina shouted with her soft voice.
"I don't have time, honey!" while wearing shoes, he said and went outside.
"What?" Lina thought she misheard him but she heard the truth. He called her honey on purpose. She got surprised and stood there for a while.
Dae Ju came to his office and he was late. But he went inside and took the lift. He reached at his destination and start walking to his room. He went to his room and opened the door. A guy was standing near his table. His back was seen from outside. Dae Ju was in a rush but seeing him he slowed down.
"Good morning?" Dae Ju couldn't recognize first and said.
"Oh! You came? I was waiting for you." the guy turned back and said. He was nobody else but the chairman.
"Yes, I am sorry I am late. Actually, I....." he was making the excuse for coming late.
"It's okay. I can understand." he was too gentle today.
"I am sorry." Dae Ju said again and went inside. He closed the door and came to him.
"Please, have a seat." he requested.
"No!.....Okay, let's talk." saying this he took a seat. Dae Ju wanted to read his face but he couldn't understand anything. He was looking down or guilty or maybe he was just curious.
"Tell me what he said to you."
"He said he accepted your proposal." Dae Ju replied and sat down on his chair.
"Oh, really? Ah! I am grateful!" he looked calm.
"But, there is a condition." Dae Ju made up a story in his mind.
"What?" his face turned pale again.
"There will be a race and must take participate in it on behalf of Johnnie and I must win the race," he said and sighed.
"What? Really? It's not a big problem! I know you can win the race!" the chairman was showing that he was confident in him. But, I can't. I know I used to win almost all the races but it's been a long! I can't race anymore! What if I lose? Won't he destroy your company with me? You are the one who took me to him! I know his rage. He can do anything! And I know I can't win the race." Dae Ju acted as he was sad but he was setting another trap.
"Aigoo! It won't happen! You can do it! I know you can!" he was repeating his words. Dae Ju made a plan but seems like it won't work on him. So he felt disappointed again.
"But, I heard that you know his younger sister. Is that true?" Dae Ju was attacked by his sudden question. He was surprised and looked at him. The chairman saw her with him some days before but seems like he didn't recognize her. But for this question, he has no answer.
