"Come with me." the girl called Dae Ju.
"Yes? Me?" he pointed on himself and asked.
"Yes, you," she answered coldly. Dae Ju went to her and noticed that she was glaring at him with her foxy eyes. Dae Ju was hesitating but also scared of her. "Not that bad! We can make him special!" the girl looked at Mr. Park and said.
"You think so? But I refuse!" he answered. He was not that harsh on her as he was on Dae Ju earlier.
"Let's give him a chance," she said with her proud face. Seems like she liked Dae Ju.
"Can you fight?" she asked Dae Ju. He was not sure about that. He started thinking and tried to remember about this guy(Rumi). If he can fight that means Dae Ju can fight too. He has a blurred memory of it. He couldn't remember clearly. But Dae Ju learned techniques of Taekwondo and he won the black belt when he was in high school. "Yes, a little," he replied.
"Let's test it." she came near him and almost hit him. It was so sudden but Dae Ju defenses her. He was surprised that he still knows the techniques.
"Wow! You are good! Now attack me." said the girl. She was too confident on herself but Dae Ju never picks his hand on any girls as he maintains at least 5 fit distance from girls.
"I can't hit a girl." Dae Ju said hesitatingly.
"Do you think we are weak? That's how you treat girls?" shouted the girl. Mr. Park was watching them by keeping a safe distance though he was amazed by Dae Ju he hid his true face. He came to them and told the girl to move. Listening to him, she moved aside and let him come to Dae Ju.
"Now attack." Mr. Park said and looked at him. Dae Ju couldn't understand what he should do. He wanted to listen to him as his face was looking scary but he couldn't hit him by looking at his that face. He was confused and standing there like a statue.
"Are you testing my patience level?" without getting a reply from Dae Ju he asked him with a very hard voice.
"No... But, what if you get hurt?" Dae Ju was faltering.
"What? Hahaha! Nice joke!" acting like he was very funny, Mr. Park make a serious face and punch him on his face. As he was not prepared for that and he couldn't even think about it, he couldn't defeat him this time and get hurt.
"Ah! Why you did this to me? I didn't come here to learn fighting skills! I came here for learn....." he was loud before and slowly his voice decreased.
"To become a spy? Do you think it's that easy?" this time detective Park was not that harsh on him.
"No," replied Dae Ju shortly.
"Then do whatever she told to!" saying this he was going to somewhere.
"Where are you going? Don't leave me alone!" Dae Ju shouted because he was awkward in front of the girl though he founds her cool.
"You are not alone! She is staying with you!" saying this he went away.
"If you want to spy on someone, you have to learn how to be invisible." she was coming to him.
"How can I become invincible! I mean, invisible! Am I a ghost?" saying this he stopped and start thinking.
"Isn't it true that he is a ghost? At least, he is a spirit now. But, can he come out from this body? He saw many dramas in which it happened. If it could happen in real life, how amazing it would be!" he thought and he was going to think more but the girl interrupts his thought. "Um-hm! Mr....." seems like she forgot his name actually she doesn't know his name.
"Dae....Rumi" he was going to tell the truth but he stopped in the middle and answered after some seconds.
"Dae Rumi?" the girl surprised by hearing the name.
"No, I just told that I am Rumi which means my name is Rumi. Not Dae Rumi." he smiled awkwardly and said.
"Ah! Don't waste time! Listen to me carefully. I didn't say that you need to be invisible or invincible. You just need to know the techniques how you can listen to your enemy without letting him know. Understand?" the girl was not that cold-hearted like Mr. Park.
Then the girl starts teaching him and Dae Ju noted her every line just like an obedient student. He imitated her to learn. He was quite an intelligent student and that's why the girl didn't have to give her blood and sweat to teach him. As he was quite matured, it was not hard to make him understand. Their practice continued for more than three hours.
"Thank you for today!" Dae Ju bowed to her gently before returning from there.
"You are welcome. You have a lot to learn so don't be late. I will wait for you here tomorrow." the girl said while showing her pride. Dae Ju noticed that Mr. Park didn't return yet. He said earlier that he was gonna stay in the practice room but where does he go? He was in this room. Maybe there were more rooms here and he went to one of those rooms. Dae Ju felt curious but he didn't have enough courage to take a look at the whole place. When Dae Ju was about to leave, he comes from somewhere. As expected there were more rooms and Mr. Park was working in one of those rooms.
"Done?" he asked.
"Yes, He is your one of the best student!" Seems like the girl was impressed by him.
"Can you go back alone?" asked the detective.
"Yes, I can. I am not that little." Dae Ju answered with a smile.
"I will give you a ride in my car if you want. It's already 2 am." said the detective.
"This guy never leaves a chance to make me small! Am I that coward? Why he is acting like he really cares for me?" Dae Ju thought in his mind and replied gently, "No! I am okay! I can go!"
"Okay, As you wish." said the detective acting like he doesn't care at all.
Dae Ju went outside and start walking on the path. It was little heavy snowfall and it was cold enough. The road was blank and lifeless. Even a single bug was not seen on this cold night. The road was a little bit dark because almost all the people turned off their lights. The decorations were being pulled off so it became like a normal road. But in some places, there were still lights so the road was not that dark. Dae Ju can walk easily on the road. Though he doesn't want to walk anymore he has no other choices. He has to walk because there was no taxi available at this late night. One or two was passing by after some times but they were full of passengers so he left hope and start walking though he was too sleepy. He felt weak and couldn't walk properly.
But he walked slowly without stopped and kept walking. If he walked in this way it could take him forever to reach home. He was yawning again and again. Either he needs to sleep now or he has to drink coffee but who will give him coffee at this time? Every shop was being closed earlier for the new year event. Suddenly his phone starts ringing but he felt too weak to pick up the call. He kept walking like a zombie. He was repeating what he learned in his mind so that he would not forget them.
His phone starts ringing again. This time he picked up the call without watching who was on the phone.
"Hello!" he greeted.
"Where are you? Why you were not answering my calls? What were you doing?" asked Lina from the other side.
"Oh, Lina-ah! I am coming to the home." he was still sleepy.
"Are you drunk?" she asked surprisingly.
"No!" He pulled himself together and replied with a loud voice.
"Then why your voice is like that?" Because I am sleepy.
"Don't misunderstand me. Why you didn't go to sleep yet?" he asked.
"I was waiting for you of course! Come back soon!" seems as she ordered him to go back or else she will not spare him. "Okay, okay. I am coming," said Dae Ju. There were still fifteen minutes paths remaining and Dae Ju have to walk for at least twenty minutes because he was too slow. After keeping the phone in his pocket, he remembered about her.
"She is still waiting for me!" he sighed. Suddenly he remembered about the last night. She was looking beautiful. And the kiss, it was really awesome. He felt like he was eating strawberry but her lips were too soft that he couldn't bite them.
"What if she got angry with him today? He will do the same to her. That's how he can calm her down.* he bites his tongue. His speed increased suddenly and he did not feel that cold. His ear was turning red after he remembering about it. He also felt happy. Actually, he used to hate these types of clingy things but now he tasted it and it was too much attractive and as he knows how it feels he likes it now.
He reached their area within five minutes and he has to walk more than five minutes to reach home. He noticed that there was darkness all over the area. A single light was not turned on and that's why it was dark and nothing was seen. The street lights were also turned off. Maybe they have been down for the snow.
He got scared because he couldn't see or heard anything. In this situation, he couldn't understand what he should do. He took his phone from his pocket and turned the flashlight on. Suddenly his battery has been down and the phone wasn't working.
"Aish! What happened to it now?" he pats on the phone for some times but it wasn't working at all. He started moving slowly. He stepped his feet very carefully because the road was full of snow and he might fall down if he doesn't walk carefully. But he couldn't move from his place anymore. His body was turning heavy like a stone and he could feel that something is blocking his way. He got afraid but he wanted to run from there. But alas! he couldn't. He feels the wind whooshing in his ears. Someone was saying *you didn't do the right thing! You shouldn't be here. I will teach you a perfect lesson. Just wait and watch. You can't snatch my place from me!*
Hearing this, he started shivering out of fear and cold but he was so poor that he couldn't even move his eyelids. He felt like the world was rotating around him. He was trying to breathe but he couldn't even breathe properly. He falls on the floor and after that, he couldn't remember anything.
When he opened his eyes, he saw that he was lying on his bed. There was a small blanket on him which he regularly use. His head was hurting and he tried to remember what happened to him. All he could remember, he was on his way home and suddenly he couldn't walk. He gets up and removes the blanket from him.
"Lina must've brought me inside!" he thought.
"I should better ask her." saying this he stood up and went downstairs. He searched for her but she was not there.
"Lina-ah!" he was sure that she was at home. But she wasn't answering. He went to the kitchen but she was not there too. He noticed that there were many things kept here and there on the floor, couch, table in a messy way. It was looking like some theft broke into the house and destroyed everything. But it was not like that. He has done it with his own hand and he doesn't even remember it.
"Lina-ah!" He shouted by her name again. Suddenly his eyes went on something. A girl was sitting on the floor in one corner of the kitchen. She was folding her both legs together and hold them with her hands. Her head was kept on her knees and that's why her face wasn't seen. He recognized the girl by her long black shiny hair.
"Lina-ah," he called her and walked to her. She pulled up her head and seeing her face Dae Ju get shocked. She was scared of something. It can be seen on her red teary eyes that she was crying. There were red marks on her cheek, forehead and side of her lips. Her lips and eyes were shaking out of fear.
"What happened?" he asked being astonished.
"Don't come close. If you dare to move one more step I will....." she stopped and some drops of tears fall through her cheeks.
